I missed a single meh button click recently (it was the digital kitchen scale that was sold just before Christmas, I was so shocked by it selling out almost instantly that I immediately scrolled down to the sales numbers and forgot to click the meh button) and, instead of giving up or anything, I went right back to religiously mashing that button every day. What does that say about me?
@lljk I was just talking to a friend here at work about missed clicks. He was annoyed that he's clicked some that haven't registered. I realized now that I'm over 500 in a row that it really is an obsession. I'll check it multiple times a day to make sure the click 'took'. Wtf, 12 step program, here I come...
After much contemplation, I have decided to continue clicking to honor @kylethephotoguy's creativity. At least unless/until there is a smiley face. I believe there has never been a smiling clickface and Kyle, I salute you. Seriously.
Brilliant Meh, brilliant! If only there was some incentive for checking the site and clicking. Say, an ascending % discount banked with each clickface clicked within the first hour of a new product day. Let it build and then apply it to your Meh purchase. And if you missed the clickface for a product day, your discount bank is purged.
@sammydog01 When i first missed i was really down about it for some reason.
Now when i miss i'm po'ed at self for an hour or so. Then for the next few days when i see the missed one i get po'ed at self all over again, but just for 5 min. I care far less about another scatch on my car. (Admission, 200k plus miles on car.)
Have never made it to 200 consecutive clicks.
What is wrong w me that i even care?

My dash shows I missed Tuesday - which I honestly feel I absolutely did not. But I'm OK with it because the last miss I had prior was the day I said goodbye to my dog after 14 years - and this was sort of a daily reminder of that.
@Pufferfishy That's sweet and sad. That missed click was a symbolic tribute to your dog and the pain of loss.
Loss...it hurts unbelievably. But in a way, i want to hang on to the pain, or not let go too quickly. If the pain is nothing, or i'm not devastated and get over it easily, or don't wish for all the things i could have done and times i could have had, just 1 more day, 1 more year; then i then i wasn't that bonded in the first place.
Getting really tired of California and Texas buying everything that is good out. I generally get on at 8am and all the good stuff is always gone by then. Starting to p!$$ me off
@knick2007 California and Texas are privileged states here on Meh and are given certain buying advantages that the rest of us do not receive. Do not be angry about this. It's just something that we have to accept.
Kind of freaked out by the primary results and forgot to double check tonight.
sigh
@KDemo
@KDemo That's what you get for paying attention to politics!
Congrats on the 608. Isn't it liberating to be out from under that weight?
@jimmyd103 - What will I live for now, though?
@KDemo Getting to 608 twice?
@KDemo We are only half way to November! You don't really have a choice, you will be living election crap for the foreseeable future.
@jimmyd103 - I can't even . . .
@jimmyd103
I might hold the record for the biggest clickface fuck-up so far.
@KDemo You have my condolences. I feel your pain :-(
@KDemo
I can't imagine how you'll go on.
Wait - what if I turn my clocks back another hour?
(Denial stage 1)
Aww... why KDemo why......
@KDemo...sorry. Only fitting.
Y'know there's a goat you can blame ...
@narfcake - I would blame @stardate820926 if my clickface was eaten, but I'm not 100% certain I clicked it last night. It's all on me.
@KDemo What's with all this take responsibility nonsense ? That's what @stardate820926 lives for.
@KDemo I'm so sorry
Ouch. :-(
Ha ha ha. You're a loser! Join us losers and wait to watch others fail!
That's what you live for.
@f00l -So glad I could add cheer to your day.
@KDemo
But henceforth you're among us. Join with us. Share our relaxed attitude over our fuckups. Giggle with us. Mostly, we're not so mean.
Yes! Another Mehtizen freed! Welcome to the club. We're called "normals".
@ACraigL - That's funny. I'm known as Abby Normal.

@lljk That we have a problem.

I apologize for my Schadenfreude
@hallmike
Dont apologize. Celebrate!

@accelerator
There is already an incentive: free-roaming OCD on the part of People of Meh. Very cheap from Meh's perspective.
@f00l Works for me. 446 in a row, 446 total. I will probably wind up heavily medicated if I miss one. It's freaking Webkins all over again.

@f00l If you really cared you wouldn't keep missing. Maybe that's a good thing?
I missed one last summer and I'm never going back!

Time to move on.

@knick2007
Just remember: the Cal and TX people actually have to live in Cal and Tx.
Ok maybe a good thing from some points of view.
Hook 'em.

@knick2007 let us consult the mehcronomicon.
