The American Amazon is apparently selling the BT version, which as I understand it, has Bluetooth built in, and the one on meh doesn't, so it might not be the 250$ version. Of course a 30£ speaker for 15$ isn't too shabby either
I'm really not sure if there are two separate models though, since the UK one doesn't mention it.
They should start putting bluetooth and dock in the title for items that contain neither of those things to see how many people skip over them without batting an eye.

I literally bought the spaceship one because it's 2 in the morning and it was red. It was also my first ever purchase on meh. Wasn't too worried about the 30 pin dock cause all my music is on my iPhone 4s anyways. So yea hope it's worth it.

Had delivery on our Amethyst this evening and all we can say is OMFG - THIS THING ROCKS! Not only is it sexy as all hell sitting there, but the sound coming out of it is crisp and clear and LOUD and totally awesome! No, I haven't been drinking (yet) - but we compared the sound quality to our very high end speakers and there was literally no difference. No USB or SD ports, but everything else works whether you are using a docked Apple product or not. Anybody that bought this as a gag gift - think again......and if it comes back up for sale again, then between hubby and I, we're in for 6!
If you have an iphone in it playing it will always use that but once you remove that it goes automatically to the AUX input for which I have jammed in the very nice bluetooth adapter - thanks meh.

@RedOak It's bad if you're using something pre-iOS 8. Other devices seem fine. I have a Windows phone, and it works just fine.
