Amazon gets on the fukubukuro wagon?
6Saw this come up on a discussion site I frequent:
Japanese shopper orders the $30 “Mystery Lucky Bag of Imperfect Goods” through Amazon, and ends up with a mouth-watering surprise
I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Now they just need to watch out for the Fuko, that’s when it goes downhill quickly.
Since Amazon owns Woot, it’s more likely to be imitating the venerable Bag of Crap.
I guess somebody heard “Bag of Crab” instead of “Bag of Crap.”
If I wanted crabs I would just ping @f00l.
(Damn! Missed her.)
@mfladd
I like cooked crab. You’ll get better results pinging me if you go jump onto your lit grill and sit there a while first.
@mfladd Playing Crabber?
@mfladd I just laughed so damn hard it ran down my legs! Loved that - what can I say - I’m easily amused.
And, a box of imperfect mystery seafood? I’m not that big of a gambler to go for that deal.
@pitamuffin How about a dinner from Dick Queasy’s Discarded Seafood?
Japanese lucky and random bags have been around for years. I’m not surprised that Amazon Japan is selling them.
Three problems if meh offered it:
$30 not $5
Box would arrive spoiled. Meh doesn’t even cushion breakable things let alone tape all the boxes completely shut. You think they’d pack frozen stuff to arrive frozen?
Smart post (see #2 above)
ROTFLMAO.
No matter who sells it and for how much…its still crap
Other way around, @VogonPoet
Fukos are a parody of fukubukuro bags which have been around for decades before Meh, and even Woot, existed.
