I’m pretty happy. Yesterday I scored two Martha Washington chairs in good structural condition at a local thrift store. They cost $8.50 each. The upholstery is not to my taste, but I have a LOT of fabric for slipcovers.

@KDemo Trim is another matter entirely. A ribbon & upholstery factory was closing, and selling stock by the pound. Fabriholic friends and I used to meet and pig out. This was 15 years ago, and most of this has been stuffed into a closet until I got around to it. Oh, and yet another bolt of upholstery fabric to play with.
@OldCatLady - Awesome! That stuff is worth a fortune! Really like the colors/patterns too.
Years ago I took an upholstery class - we built ottomans from the ground up - feet, frame, tied springs, trim, and all. Even then the fabric was super expensive.
I bought out an entire basement of vintage lace…for pennies – honey bought the fabric on the rolls and whatever I didn’t want, we donated to the school play. We chuckle every time we see our fabric used on something else for the play.
@mikibell It hasn’t had much play today. Few comments and only a couple new stars. So I don’t think locking it will help. I think at this point it’s just a waiting game. Biding time until it falls off of it’s own volition. I can’t imagine they made it a sticky, so I’m at a loss as to why it’s maintained it’s top spot.
