@sammydog01 I asked Botnik and he said
"yes go to the place that you hate eggnog with just a splash of virtual whisky in. " Weird that he knew you had whiskey.
@BuffBillsFan yes, I was about to buy two for my adult kids because they have parties and I thought they could use this to just double check their guests that may have overindulged. Much rather them have a couple overnight guests than anything else, but 2 star rating, not so much
If you think you might be too drunk to drive, don’t drive. Blowing into this and somehow being reassured by the reading it gives is idiotic. Also, people can be impaired without hitting the magical legal limit, so blowing under the limit doesn’t mean you should drive. On the other hand, if you want a fun little toy to give you inaccurate readings at parties, this might be for you.
Last I saw most of these things (at least the cheap ones) are a party trick at best, right? Like someone who takes a drink and then blows into it blows a ridiculously high number. I believe you need to stop drinking for quite a while before you even use it as a close to reliable test, and most folks who use these aren’t going to put the beer down for a half an hour just to check their BAC I assume.
