Today that something arrived.
I received a lot of goodies and it was difficult to keep the wife and kids out of it, but I’m super excited to start using this stuff. From baking stuff to a bluetooth speaker and smart watch

@speediedelivery that’s a illuminated trick or treat bag. Meh sold them a few years ago but I missed them. It’s a really cool design and my kids love it
I’m not much of a baker myself, but my wife and daughters are amazing bakers. If/when they put something together, I’ll be sure to post something here
I forgot about those bags. I liked them but did not buy any.

That’s a great box of goodies you got! You can listen to some good party tunes while watching the wife and kids bake a spectacularly spooky halloween themed cake with lots and lots of eyes!

OK, that’s amazing, and I really hope the ninja throwing stars sandwich kit shows up in future posts.
After many hours on the charger and many attempts to get it turn on, I’ve come to the conclusion that the Libratone bluetooth speaker in the box is broken. It was an open box, so maybe it was a customer return? At any rate, it’s not a big deal as the rest of the stuff is more than I expected
@capguncowboy So I got one as well (out of the box and missing a few things). You will need to factory reset it since as a return it likely was paired to someone else’s device.
What I did was charge it. Reset it. Bluetooth it to my computer (not using the app), waited ages, redid that several times, and finally it paired. Now when I go to use it then it pairs much faster. I have not tried with with my phone as I don’t buy enough data to stream much in the way of music so didn’t download the app either.
The manual online is online. It is listed as the libetone one and too. Not much in that though. I think I googled how to factory reset the thing as well for more detailed instructions. Speed is not its forte when doing this.

@capguncowboy You have to hold it for a while. Way longer than I had expected. Seems to me I had to hold the power button and push on the bird until the dots on either side of the bird showed up and started flashing. I only had that problem the first time. The rest of the time I just used the power button and it made the usual noise when turning on.
@capguncowboy PS I just turned mine on. Had to hold the power button for a count of 4 seconds to get it to turn on. And as I said before it wouldn’t do it until I reset it before. Then getting it to pair for the first time was a trip and a half. Finally succeeded. And if bluetooth is on with your phone and you are using it play music, if the phone rings the music cuts off. That was a surprise the first time that happened. The only way I could figure out how to get the music back was to turn the speaker off and then back on.
An electric kettle is one of the handiest things in my kitchen. Congrats on your win and the haul!
