A brilliant idea to make Meh rich
7So I was thinking about how people like to get the Meh button streaks going. It keeps them coming back every day. They want to keep that streak alive. Well, what happens when that streak ends? Be it by accident, or a technical glitch... once that streak ends, the motivation to come back every day is gone.
Here's the idea: Every time you make a Meh purchase, you get to go back and click on a face. Making a purchase gives you a one time mulligan.
It motivates people to buy things. It allows people to keep streaks going. Longer streaks equals more motivation to visit every day. Win win win.

Seriously thought you were gonna say "pagination"
@katylava Why? I've put a lot of thought into pagination lately. It sucks. You guys were right.
@phatmass Right. Next @Barney will start singing the praises of orange.
@SSteve Well, orange isn't a bad color...
As long as my streak remains intact I will be against this idea. However, should it ever be broken, I will immediately flip sides and support this completely.
@PurplePawprints My solution would not solve your problem.
@PurplePawprints That's the spirit!
@phatmass Why wouldn't it?
I had 77 days straight. For some reason March first didn't register. Going to cancel my VMP next time around. I've lost all enthusiasm. (First world problems?)
@BrokenToaster My solution would solve your problem.
I would actually sign up for that but better yet for every month of membership you get a free day back and if you have a full streak already, extra days add to your streak.
@Squid_07 My solution would solve your problem.
@phatmass @kataylava I want to be able to sell my meh faces please. Meh could run a mehface auction house. Phatmass's solution would add to my inventory I'd have to sell.
@Kidsandliz Would you call it MehBay?
I still say we just get the option to buy missing mehfaceclickstreakbuttons for $5/pop.
@mikey My solution would solve your problem.
@mikey I will sell you mine. No problem.
I still check every day (but not at switchover time) because of VMP; need to find something worth buying at least once a month to make that month's premium worth it; otherwise its time to cancel (which is perhaps the point of the recent spate of unwanted items for sale)...
@duodec My solution would solve your problem.
still trying to figure out what the attraction of clicking the button is. it's obviously very addictive, so, like cigarettes, it's best just to never try it.
@ekw My solution would solve your problem.
I've hit 50 twice... but then it didn't count the 50th.
I thought it was Some bug not letting you do 50 in a row.
Would be at 120 except for those two glitches where it did not count my click.
@OnionSoup My solution would solve your problem.
I only click Meh when I think something sucks! So if I buy "most" times I don't click the Meh button, but I still buy some things that suck at times so they still get a true click or not.
My Meh history is a TRUE history of Mehness, not some freak on a Meh streak!
@Stallion My solution would solve your problem.
@phatmass ... What about my problem? Conglomerate constipation..
Would your solution solve my problem?
@Thumperchick Everyone knows the answer to that. ;)
@Thumperchick If you have a problem, yo, I'll solve it. Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it.
@Thumperchick Wait. Are you hitting on me again?
I check everyday and still fail to hit the Meh button most days. I just don't care.
I'm going for a streak of how many days I haven't hit the Meh face. Sadly, my wife is addicted and can't stop. Will your solution solve my problem?
@Bogie your wife needs her own account. Meh needs the subscriber count to bump for the IPO/sale to Amazon.
The meh button is a marketing tactic to make you come back. There is no benefit of hitting it. There isn't a negative to ignoring it.
edit: nope I lied, longest streak was 39 days. I suck.
@un0 You've got me beat by one day.
I got a better idea; how about an easier way to change your credit card information when the old card expires and they issue a new one (same card#, new date)?
