These bulbs need CONSTANT power if you’re looking to utilize any smart features.
In my experience with these, when the bulbs lose power for more than about 15min, they lose ALL memory, become disconnected from the app, and revert back to factory. Additionally until you set the up in the app each time you power them on they blink 4x to let you know they’re ready to connect to the app.
So just be wary how and where you plan on installing these.

Lights are suppose to express a smart idea, not be smart themselves.

App required? Pass. Give me a physical switch every time.

If these were 6 or even 4 for $10—which would almost be as good a deal as I got locally last Black Friday—I’d buy them. Meh.
