My wife bought a big bag from Costco and I’m ashamed to admit I am eating a lot more than I should. She initially put it in the garage and I wish she’d left it there. It’s exposing my lack of willpower.
I mean technically none. Because there is none. Because no child would trick-or-treat a half mile up a highway and a half mile over to hit 4 houses. Unless we were all going bobs burgers/full bars and they had bikes.
And I think parents would be mad lol
Plus the expensive houses are around the lake and the actual town has good decorations so… Kinda locked out
Thankfully, we don’t live in a neighborhood. Yes I still decorate! But we get ZERO trick or treaters. So no candy in the house because the Englishman has absolutely no self control when sweets are involved. The kiddos actually hide their candy from him for any holiday. It’s also why I just hid the three trays of Ferreror Rocher in one of the couch storage spaces today! Merci, @chienfou!
A bag of m&m’s we get over 300 trick or treaters a year so I need all of the candy we bought…I spend way too much on candy…I know I don’t have to give a handful but I do :0)

I bought a bag of Utz Bats and Jacks pretzels, 36 snack size bag count. I only ate 2 tiny bags. So far.
