I’ve had these, pretty decent, and should last well beyond the Sell By date. You’ve been selling too many bars lately though Meh, my wife will kill me if I buy more.
Ehh, the fact that honey is the first ingredient in the almond and second ingredient in peanut makes this a no go for me, way too much sugar. Not to mention that cane sugar is also in there
Mushroom blend? Not at all what I expected to see on the ingredients list. Anyone had these can comment whether they have a mushroom taste?
/giphy mushroom
@katbyter Aww, i sorta liked that dude who looked like he was on a bad trip wearing bad dentures! I couldn’t find him, but this one is kinda cute, too.
@arielleslie@ircon96 that’s why I tried to pick a giphy of actual mushrooms so it might draw attention. I have friends who are allergic to mushrooms. I would’ve never thought something like this would have mushrooms. I’m not allergic but don’t like the taste and texture. Or honestly just the thought of eating fungus. I wonder how these taste for someone who doesn’t like mushrooms. Tempted but don’t want to waste that much money on something I don’t like.
@arielleslie@katbyter I don’t care for the taste of them, either, or the texture, for that matter, but i know they’re considered a superfood, so i WANT to like them. I’ve had them before when small pieces were mixed into a sauce & they weren’t noticeable at all. That’s about all I can manage at this point!
@katbyter I appreciate that these are somewhat healthy, but peanuts are so cheap that I don’t see this as a good value. I was tempted to buy the pack containing the almonds and pumpkin seeds, but now all Meh has is the all-peanut packs.
These sound pretty tasty to me, and I could use some variety in my grab and go bars.
In for half and half, although I’d probably be pretty happy with just the peanut ones.

@ACustomer I don’t know what the Fuck that even means, but everyone should know that @ACustomer trolls these forums and complains about swearing. Shit.
@ACustomer@pmarin Seems like @ACustomer and @ekyles are both bitch-ass punks who troll Meh (and probably a ton of other sites) with their dumb-fuckery because they have no lives.
@Atli126 I agree, but if you pay attention, there is only 3g of added sugar. The major portion comes from the honey/fruits, which is healthier than pure plain sugar. If you are diabetic or have a high A1C, you may want to pass though.
Also, check this out: Honey’s Effects on Diabetes and Blood Sugar
@AdventureHiker@Atli126 still sounds like from that link, just 5-25g of honey slightly helped, but more made it worse, we also dont know what else they were eating, and it was a small study of 64 people. Also, it mentioned it could just be antioxidants, and other stuff has those without sugar, so i would be curious to compare the 5-25g group with another group that instead ate stuff with a smililar amount of antioxidants that didnt have sugar.
@rpstrong Its funny but the day after hearing about “sugar alcohol” I see it on Meh. What I learned was that it can be something used in sugar-free items…and for some people can cause really bad gas.
These also have 260 calories in a 2-oz (56 g) bar. Lots of sugar, lots of fat, small bar = not in my diet. But at least these seem more wholesome than a lot of other “protein bars.”
@CBL_WV Check my reply to Atli126.
3g of added sugars - not all that bad, tbh.
“One study from Turkish researchers found that people with type 2 diabetes who ate 5-25 grams of honey daily for 4 months reduced their hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), which is a measure of blood sugar control over recent months. But those who had more honey each day saw their A1c level rise.” (WebMD.com)
@CBL_WV You’re not wrong… but this product has some use for some of us. I haven’t had this one, but have eaten their waffles. On a long distance bike ride, products like these are invaluable.
The things I eat on a 100 mile ride are very different than a snack to get me from lunch to dinner.
@CBL_WV@sglewis Agree that it may not be for everyone, but I like the low sugar added value, and the fact that it does not have any artificial sweeteners either (like sucralose).
They sound yummy, so I purchased them Too bad they did not have the 2 different flavors available, only the peanut sunflower seed one.
Hey @ekyles I think you and @ACustomer would have a Fucking great time partying together and trying to stir up Shit. (@ACustomer pretends to hate swearing or talking shit)

I sting my honey all the time.
“NUT” Butter??
Um … no thanks!! Don’t think I could stomach Sea Men!!

@Telanis If she asks what you bought, you can just say, “nut 'n honey” really fast…?
@ircon96 @Telanis Too bad they’re not called “Nut N’ Bitch”.
@ircon96 @Telanis @Trinityscrew
@Telanis @Trinityscrew You shouldn’t talk to your poor mother like that!

Can’t wait for the honey stinger to fill me with nut seed protein!
/giphy tingling-unnerving-jester
Yo mamma like nut butter
Should make my cats happy, if I eat these outdoor. Because the reviews say the seeds will fall off and attract birds.
But I want to know, Is the pumpkin spiced?
I am reminded of the legendary Stuckey’s pecan log. And I should prefer not to be.
So can these recovery bars help me recover the youthful body of Adonis I once had?
(Aphrodite came and got it and I can no longer use the HOV lane.)
Ehh, the fact that honey is the first ingredient in the almond and second ingredient in peanut makes this a no go for me, way too much sugar. Not to mention that cane sugar is also in there
@ctweeks2002 Oh wow, you’re right! How’d I miss that there’s more honey than almond?
Mushroom blend? Not at all what I expected to see on the ingredients list. Anyone had these can comment whether they have a mushroom taste?

@ircon96 @katbyter
Wicked cute!!
@katbyter I’m really glad that you noticed this and mentioned it. Mushrooms give me violent diarrhea.

I went to SamsClub.com to see what other protein bars go for. Apparently Sam’s sells these exact same bars ($2.25 each vs. 75¢), or you can get Stinger chews or waffles. Who knew?

Candy corn tooth and all!!
@mediocrebot @troy stop teasing us with the magical showme option not available to mere mortals.
EDIT though I can only imagine (and look forward to) the chaos that would ensue…

@ACustomer @pmarin I complain about the goddam’ fuck meter being broken.
@ACustomer @pmarin Thanks. That fucker is an asshole for posting a trashy gif of the VPOTUS. (Did I do it right?)
@ACustomer The look you make after swallowing Willie Brown the first time! VP Lewinsky!

@ACustomer Wrong fucking South but you get a E for eeeeediot.
@ekyles Did you make the same face the second time you swallowed?
No sugar, but 16 grams of sugar. Don’t be fooled folks. If you’re watching sugar (as we all should be) it’s still alot

It’s not “no sugar”, it’s no “sugar alcohol”. Which I’d never heard of.

Can I eat these while wearing my 15 Fauci masks ?
@ekyles depends on where you’re wearing them.
@ekyles If you are stupid enough to wear 15 of any mask you are probably too stupid to eat.
Also, what the fuck is a Fauci masks? Is that one of those Italian bondage porn masks your mom makes you wear?
@ekyles You can just eat .
