@atherrien95 Yes, I came here to say that. I bought two of them not that long ago and I like them a lot. Really lightweight, charges my phone 2-3 times and it does fast charging.
@Fuzzalini I’m curious to know how this charged your phone 2-3 times when the specs state they have a 4000mAh capacity? Specs are wrong or your battery is less than 2000mAh?
@Fuzzalini@irenegade@KENSAI for comparison, I can get a pixel 2xl to about half…maybe (during use, maybe it’ll be more with the phone off). it’s good in a pinch until I can get to a charger, but not a complete replacement of one.
@irenegade I have no idea what the specs are on my phone, but it’s old and I don’t ever let it get down to 0%. I know I’ve charged it twice with the battery, and had some left over. So yeah, maybe I should have said 75% x 2.3 for those who need me to be super specific.
@dvermilion I bought 2 of these here and they weren’t refurbished. I think I paid $12 for both. Not a fan of refurbs. There’s a reason they got returned…
Refurb, lol. Dunno about this model but I had a couple of dud 2500mah ones (the ones with a single 18650 inside), meh sent replacements, and I tried getting one of the duds apart. Thing was completely glued together and I basically had to hack it to smithereens (ruining a 10 cent utility knife blade) to get at the insides. So the refurb thing makes me chuckle.
@Dynamik try the 30,000 Aduro battery on spamazon or woot.
I’m interpreting the “refurbished” part as these were open-box, buyer’s remorse returns that are basically like-new and have been repacked for resale.
That being said, I’ve mentioned in the past that these ones in particular are great because they’re slim enough to throw in a pocket without adding any meaningful bulk, but they give you an emergency top-off for a smartphone should that need ever arise.
At ~$4 each I think it’s definitely worth getting a set, and you can give one each to family members.
@Atomizer I’m with you. I suspect most of these were returned by people who didn’t realize that their phone has a different connector (and these do not have USB-A). I bought some new about a year ago and they are my go-to for both my phone and my mirrorless camera. If I know I’ll need more juice, I’ll just grab a couple of them. The slim form factor and built-in cable make them very convenient.
We use the non-refurb ones in the house instead of tethering ourselves to an outlet. Having the usbc cord integrated is awesome, cuts down on cord clutter. Fully charged, one of them will charge up my Pixel phone 1.5 times.
Not sure how you refurbish a battery?? Otherwise I’d be in.
I’m so glad I got these. They’re better than I thought they would be as far as being nice and light, and I really love the built in cord. Since they are so lightweight and need nothing else in order to use, I gave one to my Mom to carry in her purse which made her happy (always a good thing ). I’m really hoping they’ll be sufficient to use with my Oculus Quest, which is what I had in mind when purchasing.
Bought a few for gifts. Testing them and they seem to have issues charging. Don’t seem to want to stay charging Will do more testing but anyone having this issue?

Another day to continue my crusade for a single 20,000+ mAh battery!
These are quite decent actually

@Fuzzalini @irenegade Must be a partial charge to 100% at best…

@atherrien95 @Fuzzalini @irenegade Yeah, the rule with portable batteries is do you want it to:
Pick one.

Mmm… refurbished Lithium.
@dvermilion Aged to perfection!

Deja meh.

Personally, I think banks already have too much power.
@phendrick It’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message!
How long will these run my Tesla?? Ok, if I had a Tesla, how many miles would I get??
@eeterrific 4AH@5V=20 WATTHOURS. X4 = 80WH. (if their numbers are accurate, probably not)
On a good day my Tesla gets 250WH/mile, but can’t charge via USB anyway.
Four for Fuesday!
Yeah, let me echo the skepticism about refurbished batteries.

Refurb battery?
Are these the power banks that other Mehites sent back?
@hchavers Sent back? Does that happen here? (No refunds… Exchanges?)

These work on my digital recorder, which was the main reason I got them, but NOT my off brand Android tablets. Any ideas why??
Anyone else’s order get cancelled today?
Yeah, same here, cancelled. Why?
