All these comments are missing the actual usefulness of these belts. If you happen to travel to areas where there’s concern for pickpockets, this is rather handy to wear under your shirt. It’s not supposed to be a belt in the sense that it holds up your pants nor should it be worn over your shirt if you’re actually trying to conceal things. It would be incredibly difficult for someone to pick up your shirt and unzip these to steal your valuables. And yes, they really do stretch to hold quite a bit.
I’m a long distance runner. These are an excellent, cheap running belt. Put your phone in one pouch, throw your car key and energy gels in the other, and head out for a few hours on the trails. Fantastic, and doesn’t even look as bad as you think it does, although I let my shirt drape over it. At 4 for $10, it’s way way waaaaaay cheaper than similar items that are sold specifically for running, and it does a great job. I bought these last time, and will buy them again.
@sfornal if you bought them before and they worked well, why are you buying more of them: for gifts, or do they have some flaw that limits their longevity? Does the elastic go bad? Is it tough to get Runner Funk out of them? I think they may be useful for the minimal first aid kit I take along on Scout hikes.
@earmstrong yeah, after a few dozen washings the elastic does start to give. But four for $10 makes that worth it. I, ah, sweat a lot running, so they get washed frequently.
Got these last time and used one on a trip to NYC for Black Friday. I am generally not concerned about pickpockets there, as I tend to be super aware of my surroundings in crowds, but this was excellent to hold my wallet and my power cell for my phone. I had a coat on so there was no fashion issue, and having my pockets empty made for a comfy day. If you are concerned about what others think of your appearance (no judgement intended), pass on these. If you are not and you value practicality, this is a good deal.
I know these are getting a lot of flack, but they’ve been very useful for me. Great for times I don’t want to carry a purse (walking, theme parks, gym, etc…). I can hide it easily under my shirt. Should be useful on vacation as well. As a previous poster said, they are also much less than you would pay for running belts as well.
I read somewhere that the inventor of gifs said it should be pronounced ‘Jiff’ like the peanut butter. The G is a J sound like in Geoffrey. So ‘gif that keeps on giffing’ sounds kinda stupid if you pronounce it correctly.
@shannenelaine That’s true but I refuse to pronounce it that way. The “g” in “gif” stands for Graphic so I pronounce “gif” as if it starts with a “g”. I don’t care what people think of me for pronouncing it that way either. I’m a rebel in that case.
@cengland0 Agree. But then, I also insist on saying “jigawatt” and “jigabyte” because the “giga” prefix came from “gigantic”. (Yeah, I don’t have many friends.)
I just tried on one that I got in my Morningsave Mystery Box.
I got it around my waist. Not very comfortable though. Then again, I’m not someone you’d typically see running.
From the infomercial linked above, I realized that they could be useful going to a theme park. I lost a car key once… One of those ridiculously expensive smart keys. It was cheaper to pay two people to drive the spare to me versus reprogramming the computer and getting a new key, rendering the spare useless in the process. After that I’ve been pretty paranoid.
Went back and clipped two belts together. Now they are way too big.
I guess I’ll hold onto one in case I lose some weight.
Interesting. Half tempted to buy them and give them as part of an especially crappy gift next Christmas for four people. But, yeah no, I think this is too above and beyond what anyone I know can handle.
@commodog I like the LCP…almost went with the LCP 2, and still might pick one up. Point Blank had a flash sale on the pico for 150 3 weeks ago so i tried one and fell in love with it. Biggest difference to the LCP 2 is the trigger…Pico has a long DOA…but for a noob carrier like me, thats a good thing, lol…I have only put 60 rounds through it at the range and have not fired 150 rounds in my life, but the gun is very easy to shoot and the sights are great…I was able to put holes through a 10 inch target at 60 feet with ease…Best part is, i don’t have to mess with iwb holsters for my g43…Pico goes right in pocket with whatever i wear…loaded with Hornady ammo, lol…
Here in MN, it’s gonna be 1 degree tomorrow. I favor small, simple cameras (Papershoot or tiny Powershot) and even smaller MP3 players. Wearing them in this belt under my coat keeps them warm and usable.
Hmm. Nobody said anything about these rubber pockets with 3M tape. I had to watch the infomercial to figure out they are called Go Wallets and are for what I thought they were: Stick to your cell phone (case) and have a place to put credit cards.
I think it’s bad when I can’t tell which picture is the joke picture.

Finally, some place to put my batteries when I take them out of the refrigerator.
@phendrick and an EDC flashlight…
LIFE HACK: If you’re worried about eating too much at Christmas dinner, just don’t wear pants that day.

2013 called and wants their ‘As seen on TV’ crap back.
@mike808 Um, why and how did you have that information handy?
@mike808 Was this invented by Romy and Michele, along with the glue for PostIt notes? And was this ad narrated by Romy?
I don’t think you are supposed to put your junk in these.
The 1980s called, they want their fanny packs back!
who in the hell would wear a belt on top of a shirt that is tucked in with a belt in their pants?
/giphy tilted
Because some of us don’t look awkward enough already?
Can I fit a glock 17 in these?

Got a set of these in my Morningsave $30 box of crap. Meh.
@cengland0 So did I, a two-pack. I had the women’s $20 box.
@pooflady Mine was the men’s box.
For anyone that cares, two of them came in the same generic brown box.
ok I won’t call them fanny packs…how about fucking useless shit?
Will it fit my walkman?
@frozenshades Maybe. I know it would fit MY Walkman
I use these to hold my phone while jogging. much less annoying than banging against my leg.
Connect all four for that XXXXL man in your life.
Same price on 9/9 …nice item
@mellowirishgent upvoting for the positive vibes I’m getting from you.
Does this really qualify as a belt? I could really use an elastic BELT to hold up my pants.
Will it chafe my Willie?
@hsutton0808 What size belt does Willie usually wear?

Modern fanny pack? No thanks.
Does this arrive before Christmas 2016?
@Lazarpandar Most certainly. They look like they arrived 30 years ago.
Interesting. Half tempted to buy them and give them as part of an especially crappy gift next Christmas for four people. But, yeah no, I think this is too above and beyond what anyone I know can handle.
Random junk for Stocking Stuffers are for Saturdays, silly Meh. Oh wait …
the ONLY thing I’m wearing around my waist is a belt, a holster and a Glock…(CCDW Kentucky)
Ummm…No…
I have one similar, but it’s by pistolwear and holds my .380. https://www.amazon.com/Pistol-Wear-PT-2-Concealment-Holster/dp/B00NZD6J22
@commodog shows unavailable…my little friend (or as i call him, Mr Pico) goes in a nemesis pocket holster…What 380 do you have?
@fastharry http://www.cabelas.com/product/PISTOL-WEAR-PT-CC-HOLSTERS/1850504.uts
I have a lcp and kimber micro. I carry the lcp the most surprisingly.

I just want to comment on the movies I had to choose from… Not Fair!! Too Many Great Movies to choose from…
@Mandamm Maybe you needed to post in the poll thread?
https://meh.com/forum/topics/favorite-spielberg-film
The saddest part of this offering is that there’s a discernible segment of people that have bought 3.
@Pufferfishy
Sad that those people think they have a use for these and decide to buy them?
Gosh. Such poor smucks, who think we know what things fit into our own lives. Pity us.
@f00l so serious!
@Pufferfishy
So very serious.

Passsssssssss
Definitely not looking forward to seeing these in future fukus…just burn um and free this world of this hideous garbage
These belts may be great for some, but they don’t fit everyone. They need to expand more in length. Not as Svelte as I used to be…
I have one of these but never opened the pack to try it. If it doesn’t work at … work, then it would be nice to wear while bike riding.
Got them before. I also vote meh.
