@username I’ll have to agree. I think the instructions list tweezers and some form of cutter. While the metal is so thin a normal nail clipper can cut it, I’d recommend a full set of round, flat, diamond, and half round pliers as a STARTING kit if you don’t want to go half crazy molding the parts. I quickly turned to making my own forming tools out of chopsticks, toothpicks, and cutting down scraps of wood.
Went and got crazy and bought a set of three. Going to give them to people for Christmas. And seeing some of the comments about how frustrating they can be, maybe I’ll give them to people I don’t really like but still have to give gifts to lol!
The last time they were for sale was on June 27th and it was a 5-pack then, so they must have sold out of some sets, or they found another shedload of them somewhere. I’m guessing the former, because that deal didn’t seem to sell out entirely.
Selling the dream? Or is the dream selling you?
Do you ever think about that Meh? Has it ever crossed your mediocre minds that the dream is selling you?
Maybe you have gone too far down the bore hole on Oak Island (keeping it fresh). Now you may be doomed to be the dreams alphabetical itch. Too bad Meh maybe if you had some soul it would be ok. No metaphorical waiter forgetting your order just your site forgetting to get good products. Maybe it irks me more than it should.
One day you Meh look back on this post as the check engine light, then it Mehbe too late so don’t let the dream sell you. Stand up for being Meh everyday in every ecclesiastical way. Strive for that mediocre customer satisfaction.
Drive your truck into that wall!
Sorry internet Tourette’s syndrome or maybe it’s turrets syndrome as I wrote gotta keep it fresh.
This post is confusing…
Do you not get the jokes about the Irk video and waiters forgetting his order? Is the pun no fun to run whip though a gun in the sun or has it been done hun? Possibly none? Ask Verdun
I think the reflection on the metal is also messing things up in the picture. The left wing looks longer and odd shaped to me compared to the real P-51. But on closer look, I think it’s the wing reflection extending up the side of the plane.
@rickfriday Yeah I hate when they do that, even when my mailbox is full size and depth so all they have to do is turn it so the envelopes fit lengthwise. They like to wrap the regular mail inside the junk mail which doesn’t fit, then fold the whole mess and stuff it in the mailbox.
@phendrick@rickfriday I got the same “canceled” email. I replied, asking why & they said there was a general issue-- sounded like a large batch of the items, headed to meh, were lost in shipment. They said a follow-on message would come out later today.
@Thumperchick This makes me sad. I was so looking forward to giving them to people I’m not fond of (but have to give them gifts) as gifts. I was excited I was actually getting Christmas shopping done. Now I’m heartbroken. Although, I do appreciate the coupon…and obviously the refund when it shows up (why is it that it takes so much longer to get money out back into your account?!)
@Thumperchick I was one who received a partial cancellation. I just got the F-22. I was hoping to give the Mustang as a gift. After checking here I found the email in my inbox. Thanks for letting us know what happened.
Bad buy. Impossible to get the pieces out without bending them, even while using needle nose pliers (not included.) You need a microscope to see the tabs, and even then, good luck bending them without breaking them, plus the directions make no sense. Very disappointing since the completed models look pretty cool. I was looking forward to putting them on my desk.
