PROTIP: Get a cup, put about an inch of mineral oil in it, and store your razor blade in it when not it use. A single disposable cartridge will last you for months, because it’s the water residue that breaks down the blade and not your facial hair.

Those “safety” razors need to be at the proper angle and stuff.

And what does one do if one does not have the handle? Are they still sold? Actually using a two-blade Dollar General razor: handle from Vietnam, blades from Korea.

@LaVikinga I got their trial and gave the shave gel to my brother. Nice manly scent, I just don’t want to smell like a man. I like their blades but their handle was way too slippery for me in the shower.

I loaded up on the Remington “KING OF SHAVES” razors and refills at Woot 3 1/2 years ago for super-cheap.
They’re not top of the line, but I haven’t had to buy another razor OR blade since then.
If it warn’t for still having a drawerful of those, I’d be all over these.

for my taste gillette excel sensor 2 blade used to the bees knees. bring in a deal on those and i might start shaving again. or safety razors

@RiotDemon A little rubber band wrapped around the handle does a great job of providing a better grip. I’ve done it with other razors I’ve used.
The shave gel mingles fairly well with the more spicy, citrus based perfumes I wear. As long as I don’t smell like Axe or Old Spice, it’s ok by me.
