Assuming that the random selection allows you to get two of the same, and there really are 18 different blankets as pictured, the total number of possible combinations is…
I have about 7 or 8 of these now. They seem to hold up to washing well too, and solve the problem of my boyfriend always stealing more than his share of the blanket. Don’t need more of them, but definitely one of my more useful meh grabs.
Dear Meh product writer-
You can have a random selection of finite number of elements. If you have 18 towel patterns and allow duplication, there are 18^2, or 324 possible combinations. Without duplication, there are 18 *17, or 306 combinations. However, in either case, they could be randomly selected.
Fortunately, all of the patterns can be generalized to two possible classes: ugly or awful. So this allows us to simplify the set of choices into {awful/awful , awful/ugly, ugly/awful, ugly,ugly}
Hope that helps.

Over 115 quadrillion combinations.
Or maybe not. Math isn’t my thing.
Bah! No ya can’t. Those at the dollar store are like 11"x9" sizes.
@wew Wouldn’t that be a dishcloth, rather than a blanket?
I can never turn down blankets
@lindsayphoto Heh.
I would absolutely buy this, but too many of the options are brown. That’s the worst color. Much worse than purple.
