@adamselby@pmarin, you do know that ‘Luck’ works both ways, Postive & Negative? Ergo, Having Luck Doesn’t By Neccessity Mean You’re Having GOOD LUCK!! Like that Eric Clapton Song that says, " If it wasn’t for Bad Luck I’ld have no luck at all!!" [the Cream, ‘Born Under A Bad Sign’, but 1st was recorded by Albert King on Stax records in Memphis, Tn: Home of the Blues, and Rock & Roll!]!!
@username LOL sticker magnet fail. Who would think of that as acceptable in the first place? Oh, yes, Dollar-store flashlights; that would be the place.
@hchavers@RedOak , Maybe she though you said ‘Whore Closet’, but if you got to eat supper & got to sleep in your bed that nite then probably, or maybe, not!! LOL!!
@unksol, I may be wrong [which ain’t unusual], but I was under the impression dat 200 Lumens was not That freakin bright!! 2000 Lumens, on the other hand,…now dat bees plenty of light!!
These exact lights were sold back in October 2015 under the brand IDEAWORKS. I bought them.
The lights themselves are fine, but they’re overall terrible. The button is rubber and get jammed constantly. Kind of a bitch to get them unjammed, so I’d stay away.
Oh, and they were 2 for $6 back then according to my order history.
@TBoneZeOriginal Not exactly the same, but very similar. Different LED tech on these. Still, both of the Ideaworks lights I bought fell apart within a couple uses. The switch self-destructed. Definitely not gonna try that again, and especially at over 2x the price.
got these a few years ago when they had them first, they are a total waste of money, terrible quality, terrible materials and one arrived DOA. I strongly recommend staying away from them.
I bought the previous version of these off of Meh (or probably old Woot) ages ago and the build quality was absolute garbage. The magnet falls off at the drop of a hat. The lights fail randomly. Just terrible QA.
I bought 2 of these a number more than 2 years ago on a two for Tuesday, and must say they are good flashlights, don’t regret buying them, they still work
Better form factor, better features and durability and free from Harbor freight with batteries every day. I have 20-30 stuck to my fridge (on the side in a column) doing nothing. I stopped picking them up as I over hoarded free stuff, unlike toilet paper. I guess if desperation kicks in, I’ll wipe my ass with them and get a free colonoscopy checkup too
And here they are. Much bigger than I expected. I was looking for something palm sized that would be a close replacement to the one that I didn’t realize I had gotten at Harbor Freight until I read the other comments. Also, the magnet is located at the most useless place possible - I was expecting I could hang one from the fridge, but not with the magnet at the end like this, so it would stick out perpendicular to the surface. Also, I see why people are complaining about Pitney Bowes. The package went from A to B, waited for days, then to C, waited for days more, then to D, etc. It’s as if they are sitting and waiting on a full load before they’ll send a truck to the next waypoint.
Oh. And it turns out that the hook is too small to hook on a doorknob, so I guess I will have to stick them in a drawer somewhere until the batteries die.

Meh. I bought these once, decent overall but not worth $7 each. 2 for $7 and it would be a better deal.
@Stallion Same- I think I have one that still works, but zero that are fully intact w/o missing pieces…
@Stallion - Thirded. The plastic hooks on mine were brittle, and broke almost immediately. IIRC the magnets fell out of one of them.
These are $5 every day at Menards… plus 11% rebate. lol
I have one of these and it doesn’t work half the time. Probably not worth it.
@adamselby That’s why you get two… 1 for 1/2 the time… the other for the other 1/2. If you are lucky.
Or, not buy. That might be a wiser choice.

@adamselby @decoratedwarvet @pmarin I mean luck only works the right way if you’re Domino
Magnet on the bottom is held by a sticker
Mine was hanging upside down in the garage for a while, then it just fell
@username LOL sticker magnet fail. Who would think of that as acceptable in the first place? Oh, yes, Dollar-store flashlights; that would be the place.
No thanks. Not gonna pay you to transfer your dollar store lights from your warehouse to my hoard closet.
@RedOak I told my wife to trademark “hoard closet”, but she just gave me the look like I was being sarcastic.

Bring back the Halo Lights.

@JT954 those are nice
@JT954 I still have some, and they are nice.
@JT954 @PhysAssist, I hit that link & only got a still photo, so What You Talkin Bout, Willis??

“Very bright” <> “200-lumen”
@unksol, I may be wrong [which ain’t unusual], but I was under the impression dat 200 Lumens was not That freakin bright!! 2000 Lumens, on the other hand,…now dat bees plenty of light!!
@decoratedwarvet lol that’s what I said. <> Is SQL for not equal. Or !=. Not up for a string compare or anything more fun this morning.

@ruouttaurmind @TBoneZeOriginal MIne work great.
Another difference is that the other ones had a single flashlight on the end.

OH MY GOD THEY BAGGED GLEN!!!
Oh boy! More LED lights.
Christmas in July is for real bargains. Is this the best Meh can do?
I bought 2 of these a number more than 2 years ago on a two for Tuesday, and must say they are good flashlights, don’t regret buying them, they still work
@joejoebells I like mine, too. It seems most people don’t like them. Mine are bright, and I’ve not had a bit of problem with them.
@joejoebells one of mine still works, the other had the bad switch syndrome.
AAA? Yuck.
@jayrandom right on. Real flashlights never use AAA unless they have a roadside breakdown.
No, ‘Magnet’ is Not a Verb, but da cousin, ‘Magnetize’, IS a fukn Verb!! JSYK!!
I don’t have anything to contribute to this discussion, but I’m pretty sure I have these in my flashlight bin already and they didn’t cost this much.

@Woody1 “supposing we brought the light inside the body”
Picked up the original version of these on meh, they are cheap trash.
Will you stop with the AAA trash already?
These last sold for $8.99 on Amazon.

Harbor freight has these in black and red. You get one free with coupon when your by something else
