Here’s a Fun Fact for You
Apparently, everyone has decided that emojis shouldn’t just be used on your phone. No, they need to be featured in milquetoast movies and on eye masks and travel pillows. So, flip on that Emoji Movie and use your emoji travel pillow for neck support; once you’re bored and sleepy, flip down that emoji sleep mask and allow the darkness of an emoji-saturated world to envelop you – cradling you to sleep – ever so gently.
@fuzzmanmatt I, too, bought these before, and it’s not like they wear out that fast – I still have one of the two sets still in the box they were sent in, so Nope on today’s offering.
But they do do a Meh job of what they are intended for. I wear the eye mask about daily (after dawn) trying to get another hour or two of sleep; it’s right by the bed where I can grab it if Mr. Sun wake me too early. The pillow, not so much, but I can get it out of the drawer of the night stand if I want extra support; usually the full-size pillows are sufficient, unless my dog decides to run off with one or more of them. (To her, my going to bed seems to signal the start of play time; but then, she wants to sleep even later than I do in the morning.)
@Felton10 My best friend for years from California is coming to visit April 1. Since my state doesn’t have any cases of this virus yet perhaps we can change that. Especially since we plan to then go camping for part of the time on the gulf coast. We will have multiple opportunities to contaminate the state. The airlines have been dropped prices recently so she saved about $200 on her ticket. Maybe she bought her ticket too soon though as ticket prices may continue to go down.
I was curious if the plain yellow was because it had a reversible cover or something. Found the link below ($15!) that shows it’s just the back half. The eye mask seems to be black on the other side.
@akadamia Be sure you use this grumpy making event to check all the batteries in your electric clocks. Many electric clocks, thermostats, sprinkler controllers etc. etc. have battery backup. One of mine had a leaking AA battery. and a couple of others had 9V batteries that were under 2 Volts left!
Some people also routinely replace smoke alarm batteries, as a part of the Daylight time change, which I am sure is egged on by the battery sellers of the world. Smoke alarms have a noise function that should be used to replace those batteries.
@bgammill I wonder how the smoke detector makers designed them to always activate the “low battery” chirp in the middle of the night? We have a vaulted ceiling in our master bedroom - I have to go out to the barn and bring in the extension ladder to reach the smoke detector. In 22 years, its battery has never failed during waking hours.
I know recently I was thinking I should have bought these. But now that they are up for sale I can’t remember why I wanted them for. Bought 1 anyway, maybe I’ll figure it out before they get here.
A really nice eye mask is the one with two straps made by Alaska Bear. With a strap at the top and one at the bottom you don’t get as much pressure over your eyes and the bottom of the mask stays against your face better when you sleep on your side. The spot lights in the parking lot make it hard to have a dark bedroom and so I use this most nights. Black out curtains would work except for the cats who, when on the cat trees that are in front of windows, have learned how to open curtains.
In a world world where you can’t post a Hitler swastika without someone getting upset and offended. I’m surprised how candidly no one says anything about Satanic Pentagrams. (main page artwork, for those that don’t understand where this is coming from.)
I don’t know about Satanic pentagrams…but after viewing that artwork…esp, the backards 3,…I can now say with certainty…Paul is dead. (Well here’s another clue for you all
The walrus was Paul.)

I bought these before, they… I mean, they aren’t great.
@fuzzmanmatt The neck pillow is functional but not high quality. Kinda that “filled with styrofoam stuffed animal from the fair” quality.
The night masks are, well, functional.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@phendrick It is a great price though, if you don’t already have these, especially for a recliner-sleeper who also has VMP.
Haven’t you heard about the Corona Virus. No one is going to travel anywhere anymore?
@Felton10 at the right price someone will travel, and someone will buy these.
Wish I had waited would have saved $2
@Felton10 Don’t worry the last picture shows they’re sterilizing the plane
@bugger @Felton10 I think that’s just another passenger in the background of that shot.

It’s a credit to the community that hardly anyone is buying this crap. Well done, choosy shoppers!

Feels like these should be hitting the I.R.K.s about now.
They remind me of a whoppee cushion (fart pillow) I used to have when I was younger.
@Felton10 If they emitted a fart sound I would buy them…
Microfiber in these is too flimsy to give any neck support. Maybe that’s why you get two. Stack them!
Stupid daylight savings time. Nothing to do with today’s deal…I’m just grumpy about it.

Make them into Emoji face masks!
@hchavers smiley faced masks seem out of place on any face mask inspired by the corona virus.

@Drunkenalien, because unlike Hitler, satan is a myth?
Cheap enough for my Internet Grab Bag!

Guess I bought one. For some reason.

If you but the travel pillow on and pull a shirt over it you could look like you just got implants !
