@Cerridwyn @Star2236 That could have something to do with it- not everybody who reads the forums posts themselves. Maybe it should be something like you have to be registered here for a certain amount of time? I don’t know. Also, the signup post didn’t get pinned at the top of the forum like usual, did it?

I understand the desire for having people that actively participate in the forum as a criteria for participation. It kind of helps to ensure people will post about their exchange gifts. It also gives you a bit better opportunity to glean some insight into things that your ‘giftee’ might be interested in.

I’m confused on what you mean by the pinning could you explain better to me?
We looked back at the last couple exchanges and a few of the people that regularly played didn’t sign up this year. They also haven’t really been active in meh at all. I’d probably let them in bc I know them and everybody else knows them too. I think a couple of the people even deleted their accounts. I know their are also a few people that can’t play this year (that usually do) bc of moving, personal reasons, ect so that also hurt the numbers this year.
@Aetherwizard @Pony @Star2236 Pinning is where it is at the top of the list even without a new post. I don’t think they pin non-official threads. I seem to remember one of the mods getting grief for it a couple years ago

I might have imagined the pinning. Basically I think the thread seemed more visible so maybe we were all just commenting more and keeping it bumped up to the top.

I think I asked before to have them keep it posted but like someone said before they can’t do that anymore. If we don’t, it doesn’t stay at the top.
