I got these last time around. The can one is really great, in as much as it looks like you’re sippin on a reusable coffee cup, instead of stealthily enjoying a fine lager in a place where it’s probably not allowed.
The bottle one isn’t as stealthy, but it is good for keeping things cold. If I had it to do over again, I’d get two of the cans.
The “bottle” one holds only (it would seem) 12 ounce bottles, presumably of beer, whereas the “can” holder will hold up to 16 ounce cans. On Meh, bottles hold less than cans. There’s a message hiding somewhere, I just know it.
The old BottleKeepers I got are really good at hiding the bottle; not so good at keeping it cold: No double-wall with vacuum inside, just thin foam insulation under the metal shell.
Perhaps these are better
@macromeh sometimes a more stealthy approach is needed. Walking the dog is easier when you have a free hand. I agree with the half gallon approach when appropriate.
Here in Florida where we’re currently enjoying 3 solid months of 90 degree averages with 90% humidity a canned beverage out of the fridge will have about 5 minutes before it’s piss-warm (not to mention that the surface you set it on will now have 2 ounces of water on it via condensation).
So unless you guzzle everything you open these definitely have a use for many.

Where does it keep the bottles?
@yakkoTDI Inside the barrel of the thing. The top bit unscrews from the main part, and the bottle goes inside.
@yakkoTDI It places the bottles in the basket.
@ircon96 @yakkoTDI Or it gets the hops again

Ah, yes, lets rip open the weather stripping of the trolley just to look cool. Hundreds of dollars in repair costs, I would guesstimate.
@somf69 Johnny Depp celebrating his recent court victory?
Or I can get some free with cool names and fancy logos at the next sponsored event.

Need double walled thermoses, not bottle/can insulators!!!
@hammi99 The description says these are both double walled vacuum insulated.
@bdb @hammi99 Yeah but they were unclear on the size and shape of the water bottles that fit in them.
@bdb they keep cans or bottles cool. I want thermos. Big difference I think? Completely different product, feature is double walled.
@Kidsandliz That’s because they are for beer bottles, not water bottles.
@The_Tim @hammi99 I knew the small one was beer, I missed the part the taller one was for bottled beer.
No one would ever use these to get around beach beer bans. Of course not. That would be Wrong.
@werehatrack no no. Never!!
@hammi99 @werehatrack
Nope. Doing that would be …

@gertiestn Bottles and cans?
Just clap your hands.
Really sad Malcom’s family sold out his name like this.

@compunaut If your beer had time to get warm you weren’t drinking it right.
Nice cans!
These are for external use only, right?
Asking for a friend.
@mike808
Once you’ve bought them, you can use them however you like.
@Kyeh @mike808 I think we should just can his question…
@mike808 I shudder to think internal use . . . that’s just too big (that’s what SHR said!)
What I need is a BottleKeeper that holds a 750 ml wine bottle and will keep it cold for several hours.
A bottle or can of beer doesn’t last so long that it gets too warm. But a bottle of wine… Even if it doesn’t, it should.
On the other hand, I guess I could just drink the wine from a paper bag.
@2many2no Doesn’t the bag get soggy and fall apart immediately?
@2many2no Here you go: https://www.miir.com/products/750ml-wine-beverage-bottle
Miir stuff is great.
@2many2no not if you’re a magician.
@werehatrack Only if you miss the bottle when you’re getting rid of the waste…
@2many2no get a camelbak and throw a couple cold packs in the bladder compartment…
if you want a cheaper option, walmart house brand ozark trail has a 12oz can insulated cooler for only $7 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-12-oz-Hard-Sided-Cooler-Silver/54304693
@communist for those of us that love to buy the overpriced name brand:
Yeti!
These are awesome!! Holds a pint from my favorite micro brewery perfectly and keeps it cold.
POPSOCKETS! SPA KITS! POLLY POCKETS! AWESOME!
@skelecurl This holds a half gallon from my favorite micro brewery perfectly and keeps it cold and carbonated!

How slowly are people drinking canned/bottled beverages?
@steelopus I sip on a can of Monster throughout my 8 hour shift. Lol
@Maccroney @steelopus given that cold hinders taste I can understand why you’d be invested in keeping that stuff as cold as possible

why not just pour your beer in a cup? won’t this get all sloppy with the can in it?
I just drink fast enough so they don’t have time to get warm.
Darn. If I hadn’t given up drinking and driving I’d be all over these.
Just say 2 for $28… there’s no reason to advertise like you can get one for $14 or two for $14 for that matter. Come on Meh![:/](https://dj5zo597wtsux.cloudfront.net/joypixels/assets/6.6/png/unicode/64/1f615.png)
