@lichme I bought these last time and they sound great if you like heavy base. They are uncomfortable as hell though. The cups aren't big enough to sit over your ears either.
Well fuck...that time of the week huh? Welp, we find ourselves at the corner of impulsivity and temptation as we near that janky ass pawn shop on the wrong end of town. As we round the corner we can't help but notice that everything is quiet...too quiet. As we gaze into the dark alley, Twofer Tuesday emerges from the shadows. Yo dawg, I heard you like headphones. So you can buy these headphones that come with more headphones so that you can listen to music while you listen to music. No? Not doing it for ya?....How about...here comes the BOOM ready or not?!...No?...Well fuck? Maybe...and Boom goes the dynamite! That was pretty good!...Well shit. Mr. Boombastic? You know what...fuck it. Want head phones.
@Thumperchick The past few Twofers have been difficult to create content for. Not to mention the fact that I write them within a few minutes. :) I appreciate the constructive feedback, helps me to improve my "craft"!
@Thumperchick i have failed you. I would love to say that i picked up on the reference immediately but that woukd be a lie. I did realize my failure a little bit ago but didnt want to bring it up, haha.
Bought these last time around, much regret. Wanted over ear headphones, but the swappable pads are so firm they're actually markedly less comfortable with them on.
With them off, there's no padding on the top, and the ear pieces slide around so easily that they require constant adjustment. Tried wearing these just once on my daily commute, never again.
I briefly considered this after the ones I got a month ago the last time they were on here broke. Yes they're mostly flexible rubber, but the plastic band that holds the rubber in is so brittle it snapped when I spread the phones apart to put it on my not-too-big noggin. I'll probably avoid throwing good money after bad, since they were uncomfortable anyway. Nice sound though!
@ahobart81 Mine broke too just putting them on. Guess I'm not the only one.
BTW, If you want a quick/lazy way to salvage them... tape the break in the plastic band, then put the rubber piece back in. They're actually far more comfortable after breaking. Though the fix is only for stationary use, as they'll be fairly loose on your head now. (Well more accurately home+stationary use, as you probably wouldn't want to be seen using them in public post-fix :P )
There's a far easier 2nd step to make them tight enough to wear while exercising again... but doubt anyone cares. So will just keep that to myself unless asked ^^
@Catdad The swappable parts come with 2 colors. One set already installed, the alternative in the box. It's not as much variety as being able to pick tge mix and match, of course, but it's something.
I'm not sure I really understand the appeal of "unbreakable" headphones. Are people actually subjecting their headphone frames to this level of abuse? In my experience, headphones wear out (if at all) due to frayed cords and such, not any damage to the frames.
@cutroil Kids. I buy my headphones and headsets in no less than sets of 2, my study closet has a back stock of headsets. With 4 young kids and our headsets out in the open we usually loose a pair every 6 months or so. They've been run over, stepped on, fought over (tug of war) and spilled on.. so, yea, I buy in bulk. That said these are too tight for me.
I have several nieces & nephews who seem to break headphones constantly so in for a pair of each color & Xmas shopping one step closer to finished lol Also I'm feeling breathtaking-swanky-saturn
Man, I feel suckered knowing I could have saved $20 waiting a few weeks. grumble
I bought 4 pairs for kids. If you have a child/niece/nephew that uses a tablet these are great. My 11 year old (6th grade) felt they were too snug but they work for pre-k to 10 years old (4th grade) perfectly. I thought the quality felt nicer than anything you could find at BB for $20. I recommend them for kids.
Got 2 of these last time they were offered here. I've got a 5 and 9 year old in the house that I figured they'd be good for. So far so good, except one of the "jacks" in an earpeice (the cord is detachable) broke away inside the housing and cannot be repaired.
I've finally gotten there. This will be the very first day I have said, "Kids today." Usually I just keep moving when I'm not crazy about something here, but, wew, Fugly! I think it's the lack of foam earpads that's upsetting me. Excuse me a minute.......... "Get off my lawn!"
My daughter loves hers, and I'm very glad I tried them out on a road trip so I could pass up on this for myself. Sound is nice, but the over-ear cups are too small. My girlfriend has spoiled me with large cups on her headlights... headphones.
Finally got a chance to try these out. Having used cheap Sony's since the Walkman era, these sound pretty good with a little EQ tweak. They are a little bass heavy, but I can live with it.
The spare tires included are pretty comfortable, I'd say.

@jsimsace hear hear
They look incredibly painful/uncomfortable.
@lichme they are.
@lichme what do you want for strap ons?
Oh, wait. These are swap ons. My bad.
@lichme I bought these last time and they sound great if you like heavy base. They are uncomfortable as hell though. The cups aren't big enough to sit over your ears either.

Nah, Twofer...I'm good.
@studerc I rate this one Semi-fantastic.
@studerc All that to say you're good... nice
@Thumperchick The past few Twofers have been difficult to create content for. Not to mention the fact that I write them within a few minutes. :) I appreciate the constructive feedback, helps me to improve my "craft"!
@studerc I hate it when a joke falls flat. That line was a play on the song Boombastic.
@Thumperchick i have failed you. I would love to say that i picked up on the reference immediately but that woukd be a lie. I did realize my failure a little bit ago but didnt want to bring it up, haha.
@studerc you can always count on me to blow up your spot!
Wonderful. I bought two at $22 each not even one month ago for Christmas gifts - on this very site. Thanks for making me feel, well, meh.

Got 'em last time. They're extremely uncomfortable, and the 'pads' are hard as rock.
Turkey Tuesday, Meh!

@lemonswithsalt Might as well be out with it. I'd like to at least continue to use them as much as possible...
Option to select different colors please, no point of switchable pieces otherwise :/

Per the product description:
@2many2no I hear ya
@jdmst77 We need some Android love around here.
DO THE HEADPHONES COME IN TWO SEPARATE BOXES OR IS IT 2 HEADPHONES IN ONE BOX? THINKING ABOUT GIFTING THEM..
@KACKMASTAH These sould be individually boxed. I purchased 4 pair before and they were packaged nicely in thier own box (shown in the pictures).
Man, I feel suckered knowing I could have saved $20 waiting a few weeks. grumble

Hoping it's a fluke, I just bought another pair.
Got them last time they were sold. They have drawbacks (not the most comfortable thing in the world) but they're absolutely worth $15 a pop.
I've finally gotten there. This will be the very first day I have said,

@Penguinie as requested, little puppies.
