They are selling this for $114 on their site. They have a history of over valuing their junk costume jewelry if what is repeatedly sold on meh is any guide.
Aaaaacccckk!!! “Gold filled” icky icky icky. And the pearls can be bought for about $1 total, on any auction site. Don’t buy this unless it’s for someone under the age of about six years old, or if you hate them!
If it is truely gold filled, then it is worth the $29 just for that. Gold filled is MUCH better than gold plated and will last as long as a solid gold piece, if care is taken. It will at least last the lifetime of the wearer, anyway. Gold plate will last 1-2 years if you are careful. This company does over charge on their less expensive items, but I have still gotten a few things that were worth it. Just be sure the metal is the good stuff, not the stuff costume jewelry is made of.
@ripper69 I have some basic pearl earrings from them, sold here a while ago. I wear them to work every day and they’re still looking good, metal and all. I think their stuff is worth it when when one buys it on Meh.
@tartanknickers I wouldn’t buy their items for the full price they charge on their site, but at the Meh price for the gold filled and pretty good pearls, it is a good buy if you like the style. I have gotten into pearls lately and wear them more than I used to, especially when they are mixed with nice metals and other gemstones. Glad to hear they wear well!
@punkynpye@lordbowen My niece is graduation high school and I thought this would be nice “graduated gift for the graduate” … but the comments here are giving me a lot of pause. Does the metal turn green? Does the band break? Does it look really cheap? What is, or are, the problem(s)?
@mollama the quality seems fine. I personally think this is ugly.
The only pearls I bought from this company was the black pearls that didn’t have any weird metal bits. It was just a pearl strand.
Obviously there are people that like these because they sell every time they are offered.
@mollama it looks cheap and dated. Like something from a bad 90s movie. I’ve never had gold filled or plated jewelry that didn’t eventually lose it’s luster, and turn my skin green. It just looks like something a single man would pick out.
@goldnectar What I find remarkable is that the photoshop job done by meh to put this necklace on a puffin is much more convincing than the job the company selling the necklaces did.
Graduated? From where? I’ll bet this one graduated from one of those online “colleges” - the kind you just send $29.95 (plus tax and shipping) and they send you a diploma.

Sorry… not the kind of pearl necklace I’m into.
I never pressed that Meh button so fast. No hesitation.
What is this - morningsave on meh?
@Kidsandliz This is a trick question, right?
Cleopatra !

If the meh button was for a crap bag, I would have scored today

I wish i had four hands to give them pearls four thumbs down.
It really looks good on your model, emphasizing the bust and the complentary colors. The woman needs something much better.
Ah well… More jewelry for people you hate…

I steadfastly refuse to make the standard pearl necklace joke.
@nolrak great one!
@nolrak fuck, that’s the only reason I came to the comments section.
They couldn’t even get a real model to wear one. Had to photoshop one on.
Purentee crap.
That’s what she said
In for the gold – you can keep the pearls.

@ripper69 @tartanknickers Yep, my new wife has been deep into pearls as of late, I nabbed this!
The paint on my car is thicker than the gold fill.
Yeah but it’s completely edible if you try hard enough
When was the last time meh sold nearly expired bulk candy. I feel like it’s been too long…
Would much rather have that than this.
Seriously, who is buying your jewelry, and why do they hate women?
It seems this is a company everyone here loves to hate.

I purchased their bracelet a while ago and it was nice
Why is there a poorly photoshopped image of a model wearing this thing? Is wearing this necklace a job that illegal immigrants and Americans won’t do?
@goldnectar What I find remarkable is that the photoshop job done by meh to put this necklace on a puffin is much more convincing than the job the company selling the necklaces did.
@zachdecker Totally. I was going to mention that, but I thought my comment was getting a little wordy.
Oy, TYPO.
Certified Valuation is actually $4.50…
So many pearl necklace jokes, so little time.

Well this is a runaway best seller 481 sold
I gave my girlfriend, Mary Jane, a pearl necklace.
I received mine in the mail & was very disappointed it looks like something u buy from Family Dollar Store or in garage sales. Not worth it
Is anything on this site worth buying
I bought this & when I got it I was so excited but too bad I took to the pawn shop they said sorry everything is faked
@Jayulioat2
So excited you posted this?
What did they mean by “faked”? Did you try a reputable jeweler?
Wait… You tried to pawn a $29 necklace?
