Another Meh deal that I would have seriously considered had the quantity (and corresponding price) been significantly lower. $1-3 and I wouldn’t have passed it up. But I don’t want to spend $8 on something I definitely don’t need 16 of.
@gt0163c they aren’t likely to go that low because of shipping. They can sell 16 for 8, but 2 will still be 5. They have to pay the actual shipping cost, plus pay the payroll for the people boxing them up, and pay for the boxes too
Nope. Not gonna plug our expensive mobile devices into a two buck charger. Especially one whose brand believes adding an “i” in front of a word implies Apple-quality.
@WaltC well, 5V 1A is “rapid” compared to older 500mAh adapters that all phones used to ship with and what most computer USB ports output…also think of how many you can charge at once with enough cars

Darn, I have 17 cars. I’ll have to wait, maybe they’ll have a 17 pack in the future.
@OnionSoup please buy two 16 packs so the rest of us don’t have to endure seeing these again.

Hmmm… I could buy 48 of these, take them apart, and have 48 USB ports for DIY projects.
But only a crazy person would do that, right?
@ddbelyea sounds like pretty “normal” Mehtizen behavior. Carry on!
@ddbelyea After checking Arrow, this is a pretty good price per port if you want fewer than 1000.

That would be an example of “false economy”.
@RedOak right! Let’s plug a $700 device into a 50-cent charger that runs off of dirty AC current.
Yeah I’m good at 4 for $4
I might even buy 8 for $6 and make them stocking stuffers next year.
Let’s make a deal Joe !
@jeffodw except that would be no way for Meh to rid itself of the container-shitload of these taking up space in the warehouse.
This is perfect for the work trucks!

@fuzzmanmatt It worked! Your order number is: troublesome-beneficial-skate

Can I use them to light a cigarette? Would be perfect for my 4/5 pack a day habit.
@galewarning yes. Insert large paperclip in the USB port whilst holding your “butt” over the ensuing chaos.
It looks like 1.0 amps (based on the 2nd pic). Almost need to power off your phone to charge it.
@WaltC …but it says “Rapid Charge” so it must be good.
@WaltC actually, your phone will be charging the car battery.
