@ponagathos I would guess this is the evolution of a master plan. Snapster alluded to the stirring winds of change in a handful of threads back when the circuit breakers were implemented. Perhaps the shift in product and pricing levels is part of a planned progression towards a more conventional commerce strategy.
@madanthony boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…
(tossing peanut shells in your general direction)
@RiotDemon I typically would agree but in this case if I tilt my head and squint my eyes a bit, I can picture this as a Star Wars / Road Warrior mash-up. And all of a sudden these become awesome.
I will give you $5 for these. And even though I’m no longer vmp, you’ll need to pick up the shipping cost. Also, you’ll have to front me the $5. And I’m not going to pay you back.
What no Chewy, Luke, Kylo ren, Darth Maul, Han Rey, Boba Fett. You would get 1 (maybe 2) of the coveted Sabine Wren cars, hey it could become valuable if this character ever become more than a cartoon, much like Garazeb Orrelio, Kanan (voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.) or the orange Chopper Character (WTH, I think they just made that one up its pic is column 1 3rd down)car. But back to what your not getting. No Millennium Falcon, tie fighter. Ok I’m done all the cars I listed you don’t get are actual HW cars offered by Mattel. So you truly are missing out.
You do get Yoda, Darth Vader R2, and BB8. I’ll pass as this is the Dark side of the force trying to use it powers to make you think these are the cars (droids) you want. You know where all of us Meh users (especially VMP) are related to Watto as he was a greedy cheap fella, and he could resist the Jedi mind trick.
These cars look like the ones little kids draw. The lines are awful. They are shitty as cars, and shitty as Star Wars characters. Perfect mash-up for Meh.
I’m torn. I want to buy to encourage more products like this. I don’t want to buy cuz my kids already have all of these except Yoda. For a buck a piece I’d buy. Pass.
@plc I like Hot Wheels also, but I find nonsensical pop-culture tie-ins a recurring theme with them.
A die cast car that looks like James Bond’s Aston Martin? Thumbs-up
A 1974 Dodge “Bluesmobile” from the Blues Brothers? The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine? Herbie the Love Bug? All logical choices for Hot Wheels.
But an Aqua Man car? A Spock dune buggy? A Reese’s Pieces van? Why?
Who sees Superman and immediately thinks “VW bus”? Are they imagining that is what he uses to get around on his day off?
@DrWorm Yeah, the Pop Culture lines get kind of annoying. In the diecast circles that I frequent they are mainly desired for customization or as wheel donors for other customs because they usually have the rubber tires. I have a few in my collection that I bought because I liked them ('70 Chevelle delivery wagon with Sulu on it? Sure! Some made-up car with a candy logo? Not so much.).
Also, am I correct in assuming that you are not a real doctor, but you are an actual worm?

@norman8
These are not the cars you were looking waste your money on…
@somf69 Move along. Move along.
These were on clearance at my local supermarket for $0.99 each.
Passed then, hard pass now.
@Comedian, were they the actual Star Wars cars, or just regular Hot Wheels?
@haydesigner
Hot Wheels Star Wars. Bought the BB-8 & R2D2 already.
@Comedian Most of these were clearanced for $.10 at Wal-Mart.
Things be gettin’ kind of spendy up in here, innit.
Back in the day, like 800 face clickies ago, something like this would have been priced like $10-$15ish.
@ruouttaurmind
Seriously. Did Meh get bought by Amazon too?

The quarter in the photo is included because no disclaimer stating it isn’t included was there.
@cengland0
and no quarters, baby arms, Irk, Glen, or other random thing we used in our silly photos.
@Thumperchick No baby arms? I was really looking forward to a bar-b-cue.
@kishkan
/youtube lets go barbie
They should have made Yoda as a Camry, so you could have a Toyota toy Yoda.
@madanthony You will be pun-ished for that!
@mehcuda67 Oh, the car-nage!
@mike808 Ha cost Hooters a new Toyota and some bucks.
@madanthony boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…
(tossing peanut shells in your general direction)
This is weird. Some of the cars look neat because they mostly just look like cars. But overall, not a huge fan of mash ups.
@RiotDemon I typically would agree but in this case if I tilt my head and squint my eyes a bit, I can picture this as a Star Wars / Road Warrior mash-up. And all of a sudden these become awesome.
Meh, you sure have been scraping on worthy deals lately…I think it’s time to hire a new sourcing guy to mix it up.
@Stallion, such as…?
@haydesigner
Seems to be a Darth of reaction to these.
They will rerelease these as mad max vehicles when a new road warrior comes out. You’ll be ahead on the curb
It’s a trap!
@MarkDaSpark It’s a speed trap!
That’s no car, that’s a star wars character.
That’s too small to be character.
I have a bad feeling about this.
I will give you $5 for these. And even though I’m no longer vmp, you’ll need to pick up the shipping cost. Also, you’ll have to front me the $5. And I’m not going to pay you back.

Are they each on individual cards?
These cars look like the ones little kids draw. The lines are awful. They are shitty as cars, and shitty as Star Wars characters. Perfect mash-up for Meh.
/image the cars we drew in kindergarten
@capguncowboy Wow, they make anything to blueprint nowadays…
Chopper!! Yay!!
Nut-filled Dookie
“free of analysis or judgment” Umm, you might want to try that again.
I’ve got every one of them already, try again.
I’m torn. I want to buy to encourage more products like this. I don’t want to buy cuz my kids already have all of these except Yoda. For a buck a piece I’d buy. Pass.
And they don’t even include Fett’s Vette. SMH.
@go_robot_go My backpack’s got jets
Meh.
Hot Wheels Star Wars Vehicle Bundle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MA47FJS
I collect Hot Wheels, I’m a Star Wars fan.
I still don’t like these. They are neither one nor the other, but an unholy abomination brought about by naked greed.
Okay, that was maybe a little strong, but there’s only like 3 that I’d pick up after they’re marked down to $.99 at Target.
@plc I like Hot Wheels also, but I find nonsensical pop-culture tie-ins a recurring theme with them.

Are these the diecast metal ones or the plastic ones?
24 for $12 would have been a more meh price.
They are die cast metal
if i didn’t buy these at the store where i work for ~$1 each, minus my 10%discount, Why the hell would i pay $2 each here?..
@earlyre because you get 2 random duplicates…?
Other reasons:
