It Could Have Been You

You didn’t think to invent these. We’re not mad. Just disappointed.

Because the concept was right there in front of you the whole time.

Sandwich bags? They exist. Reusable Tupperware nonsense? Also a thing.

But did you put two and two together to bring something new into this world and become a moderately successful Shark Tank participant and maybe later manage a small-to-midsized storage bag startup that eventually turns enough of a profit for you to pay your kid’s tuition? YOU. DID. NOT.

(Yes, we’re trying to manage your theoretical entrepreneurship expectations right now. We’re talking food storage bags here, and ones that ultimately ended up on Meh. It’s not exactly founding Facebook or coming up with the pet rock. This idea doesn’t get you a yacht with a smaller yacht inside. It might get you a midsized SUV with decent reliability. Still…it could have been you.)

But whatever. You didn’t think of it. Neither did we. It is what it is.

The good news is that even without inventing this game-changing approach to food storage, you can still benefit from the humble ambitions of those who did.

Instead of having to pack lunch based on your own willingness to babysit a clunky hard-walled container for the rest of the day, you can just use the bag that makes sense and stick it efficiently in your purse or backpack or whatever when you’re done.

Oh, and for leftovers? Bags like these are brilliant when it comes to storing odd amounts of this and that, fitting what you need inside without taking up a dumb amount of space in the fridge. Plus you don’t have to worry about matching up lids or dominating the precious storage capacity of your cabinets when you aren’t using the containers.

Oh, and they’re Silicone and oven-safe up to 425 degrees and we literally cannot think of how that would be useful or why you’d want to heat food up in one of these, but…maybe? Like you could toss your day-old egg rolls in the oven still wrapped up in the thing and just let them heat up?

Oh wait! Sous vide cooking! Yeah, these would actually be rad for that. Seriously.

In any case, it’s a brilliantly straightforward invention that should have been obvious all along. Want to talk about more great stuff like that? Catch us over on the forum this afternoon!
