WTF, why not. I put out 2 big balls, instead of a bunch of smaller lights and things and I’ve significantly lessened the time required to put up decorations. Maybe they’ll look more impressive. Maybe I’ll mount them high and lower them on a countdown.
@Mandamm I will admit a certain fondness for the Grinch that my former neighbor across the street had. But most of the rest? Tacky or worse. (One other exception because it was so absurd; somebody had one of the flailing stick-man inflatables that was done up as a skinny Santa Claus with scared face instead of the jolly smile, and that was reasonably amusing.)
@Mandamm@werehatrack Near my work there is a house that put up one of those giant skeletons for Halloween. They never took it down and dressed it up like Santa.
@BioBill I saw artificial, Christmas trees at Costco yesterday. They also had pumpkin pies for sale. Speedrun holidays! (And people wonder why people don’t have holiday spirit any longer.)
I’m considering buying a bunch of these, securing them to the frame of my house, and filling them with Helium. I saw it in a movie once and wow, what an adventure!
Hope no one in my area displays these, cuz I’d rather not see the looks or the messaging.

Wait a minute, there is no way these are fan airblown AND made of PVC vinyl. That has to be a mistake and they are actually made of nylon.
