Hello. It’s me, the foreman of your kid’s toy construction site. And I am begging you: please, buy this RC excavator.
I don’t ask for much, okay? You give me a limited supply of random materials–primarily wooden blocks and sand–and do I complain?
Never!
My crew? An absolute ragtag team of pure misery. I got one-armed Batman. I got naked Barbie with a terrible haircut. I got three Boss Baby Happy Meal figurines who can’t move their limbs, and, on top of that, are babies, which is a nightmare for me, paperwork-wise.
And then I got Woody from Toy Story, who is very able-bodied but pretty messed up in the head. And I don’t blame him, either. He’s a toy, based on an animated movie, in which he’s also a toy. This is toy-ception-level stuff here, buddy. It’s a lot for him to unpack. Which is to say nothing about the incident from a few weeks ago, when someone streamed A Man Called Otto while we were working, and Woody was like, “Why does that old guy sound so much like me?” I swear, I do more therapy than construction most days.
Sorry, got off-topic there. Where was I? Oh, right. Limited materials. Crew of literal misfit toys. Tough, right? So you’d think your kid would cut me some slack and give me easy projects.
But, no sir!
I’m supposed to build rocket ships, castles, fortresses, elaborate secret hideouts, you name it.
That’s why I need this RC excavator. It’s simple enough for kids 3 and up to use, yet it can actually scoop some stuff up. Plus, you get a bridge, some sand, a couple dump trucks, and even a fun map board to round out the site.
So get it for me! Please!
Anyway, I should run. Gotta interview Lego Indiana Jones for a job. I’m hopeful it works out. I need to move a big rock and I’ve heard he’s really good at that.
