New Noods Just Dropped
What are we selling?
A pick-your-12-pack of some rad ramen noodles for just $24. We’ve split these up into 6-packs, so you can choose any 2 flavors.
But why are we selling them?
Because noodles fucking rule! In fact, we love noodles so much, we made a whole site about them about a decade ago.
Wait, what? Pastadrop was summer 2020? Holy shit. Time sure doesn’t fly when no one’s having any fun at all.
Speaking of not having any fun: for people who are cutting carbs–or, even worse, who are gluten intolerant–noodles are no fun.
And if we may go on a quick rant: it would be bad enough if everyone was just like, “Aww, bummer, buddy! Guess no noodles for you then!” But instead, the world has the gall to tell low-carb/gluten-free folks: “Hey, friend! Turn that frown upside down! There are plenty of vegetable-based noodle alternatives!”
And sure, there certainly are… things that look somewhat like noodles. But zoodles? They suck! Not sure about you, but we’ve never had linguini that tastes like green-tinted, vaguely gelatinous water. Spaghetti squash, meanwhile, is tasty and looks somewhat like spaghetti. But the flavor profile is, get this, very squashy. And yeah, maybe slathered in creamy tomato sauce and topped with a couple big (gluten-free, low-carb) meatballs, it’s okay. But that’s not always what you’re after.
We mention all this because these noodles are not that. Yes, they’re gluten-free, low-carb, and keto-friendly. But they’re not just some veggie cut into the shape of ramen noodles. They’re made from “konjac glucomannan powder” which is apparently great for “weight control, low calorie diets, ketogenic diets and perfect for a paleo or keto lifestyle.”
Plus, each package is just 51 calories. That means you can add whatever you want. Some mushrooms, some fresh veggies, some pork belly, some beef, some tofu–just cook it and plop it into that tasty broth with nary a worry that it’ll make your meal too rich or heavy.
Pretty cool, huh?
So get some and up your low-carb, gluten-free lunch game.
