The Fool's Errand: an April Meh-rathon
“Where’s your coat?” Bob said.
“Oh, I didn’t wear one today,” his wife said. “This sweater’s warmer than you’d think.”
“But you’re going to trivia after work. And it’s supposed to cool way down tonight.” Bob removed his own coat. “Here, I’ll be fine getting home at five. Take mine.”
“That’s so thoughtful of you! You’re the best, Bob!” His wife put on his coat, gave him a kiss on the cheek, and then it was time to get back to work.
