“These glass gnomes have a six-hour timer,” said Mr. Tether as he handed them to a trick-or-treater. “That means they can glow all the way through the first half of a Ken Burns documentary!”
“Who’s Ken Burns?” asked the boy.
“He’s a man with a nice voice who talks on television about things that happened,” said Mr. Tether.
“What kind of things?” asked the boy.
“All the things,” said Mr. Tether.
