The Fool's Errand: an April Meh-rathon
“Oh, sorry,” his wife said. “I meant, what are you eating over there. At your office. I noticed the leftovers you planned to take for lunch were still in the fridge this morning.”
“Yeah, I realized I forgot when I got in,” Bob said.
“I brought them with me,” his wife said. “I could use getting away from my desk. I’ll come over before lunch and drop them off.”
“You’re the best,” Bob said. So he wouldn’t have to go out to lunch after all!
