Love the Holidays: a Meh-rathon
“My grandmother always loved garden gnomes,” said Richard, showing Petra around. “That’s why you’ll find them around here, in her hydroponic poinsettia garden. I know a little poinsettia business probably doesn’t mean much to you, a big city heiress, but it means something to my small-town family.”
Petra looked at one of the gnomes. “Huh.” Then she looked at the plants. “Aren’t there usually big red blooms on poinsettias?”
“Not all of them,” Richard said. “These are green poinsettias. They’re big in a lot of industries.”
“What industries would those be?” Petra asked.
Richard shrugged. “Medical. Recreational.”
