Cuisinart Knife Set and Acrylic Stand
- Basic kitchen knives, not pro quality (or price)
- You’ll have to lie about the price to impress people
- Maybe you don’t want to see inside your knife block
It's not the knife, it's the chef.
Serious cooks shouldn’t buy these knives. If you’ve got real skills, if you’ve studied the art, if you earn your living cooking or would like to someday, your talents deserve a higher-grade set of blades. We’re sure you know this already.
Everybody else, let’s talk. Buying fancy knives has become an expensive but easy way to fake some kitchen cred. But in unskilled hands, what good are they? They won’t cut any better or easier unless you know what you’re doing. All you’re doing is wasting some finely honed steel and inflating knife prices for the rest of us. And you’re not impressing real cooks. They can tell a fake.
Stick to perfectly decent, cool-looking knives that you won’t have to use to hack off your arm and leg to pay for. Like these ones we happen to be selling today, with stainless steel and high-carbon blades, a nonstick coating, and a soft antislip handle. And you can still show them off in the clear acrylic stand: “LOOK U GUYZ TOTALLY KNIVES!”
Put that big knife budget toward some cooking lessons, and maybe someday that high-end cutlery will actually do you some good.
