He learned techniques Goofus could never hope to learn himself. Goofus heavily considered dubbing the guy Darth Smartypants officially. One might think the Sith Lord would be jealous, but in truth, he was likely relieved that maybe, just maybe, he had not doomed the Sith entirely.
