@Felton10 On side deal it says with the irk there:
“If you buy this IRK and buy anything in the Meh-rathon, you’ll get that amount (excluding taxes and shipping) refunded off of this IRK, up to $99.99.” So to get a free irk you need to spend $99.99 on meh. If you spend $50 on meh you have a $49.99 irk.
@mypiesarepiff I am guessing not if they can make more money doing it this way (eg pay a fortune for it on side deal and get a price reduction if you spend a fortune on meh).
As a Star Wars fan born on May 4th, and someone who spends far too much money on crap from Meh… this feels like a nice birthday present from the folks at Mediocre. Now, will I buy anything or waste my day checking the crummy deals for nothing … Thanks Meh!
@hanxiety most stuff I got in irk goes in the box to the salvation army or goodwill store. The bags are nice for groceries and thats all the worth. $100? NFW!
Can I get the IRK after I spend $100 on the mehrathon? Basically I don’t know if I will want to buy anything so I would like to know if I can add the IRK later if I have purchased a bunch of other crap. I’m not buying it and then hoping that something I actually would like pops up.
@sammydog01 If you click your spacebar after clicking the button you can replay the effect over & over!! Not sure how many times it’ll repeat but pretty cool!
@mypiesarepiff They could have made it better by offering us a $10 irk. And enough of them that we had a decent chance of getting them as at least for VMP’s most of our perks haven’t been “honored” in years now.
1 minute in an mo.IRK, of course
…
You guys suck. Just saying.
@sarahsandroid
And yet you’re paying for membership, so clearly they’re doing something right.
I wish there would have been a hint whether I could and or should wait around for reasonably priced IRKs.
@Felton10
Just spend $250, and it’ll be completely reasonably priced.
@Felton10

Another dud mehrathon. Way to kill the fun, meh.
Will the irks ever just randomly pop up in the mehrathon ever again?
@mypiesarepiff will any of us wait around long enough to find out?
@mypiesarepiff I am guessing not if they can make more money doing it this way (eg pay a fortune for it on side deal and get a price reduction if you spend a fortune on meh).
@mypiesarepiff They did in the last mehrathon.
@mypiesarepiff @zhicks1987 But that time they didn’t sell one on side deal too.
@Kidsandliz @mypiesarepiff @zhicks1987 And the IRks were $13.37
Nooooooooooooo!
They are back to their old tricks to try to force us to spend money on stuff we don’t want or need again.
@Felton10 Mind tricks do not work on me. Only money.

@OON7
/giphy meh happy birthday
This is the week of food that nobody wants & of $250 other things that nobody wants, but aren’t we having fun, boys & girls?
I’d rather see a hundred comments of people complaining they missed an IRK than see IRKs for a hundred dollars.
@hanxiety most stuff I got in irk goes in the box to the salvation army or goodwill store. The bags are nice for groceries and thats all the worth. $100? NFW!
I literally can’t imagine what people are going to do with a $100 box of garbage.
This is the weirdest recycling program I’ve ever seen.

The meh button is amazing.

@IndifferentDude Ooh fancy! Someone went all out.
@IndifferentDude @sammydog01 It probably bothers me more than it should that only the dish moves, and not the rest of the Death Star.
@blaineg @IndifferentDude Fine, just ruin it for me.

It seems like there are a lot more visitors to the site today than usual. Over 200K looks almost double.
@heartny on a different note, Instagram told me to buy this:
@heartny @sammydog01
@heartny @sammydog01 Did you?
@sammydog01 Instagram clearly knows what you need
-William Shatner
@thismyusername I love Bill, but you know that he’s taking it hard.
that was the worst member hour in mehrathon history

This reached my limit. I can normally find $50 of stuff to buy during a Mehrathon to get the IRK, but $100 is too much…
If I had 100 bucks I’d buy one but the tort needs to eat
Managed to come in at 98.57. But a little sad I missed the chopsticks
Well that bytes it!
So if you’re disappointed at not getting more Star Wars themed merchandise, Williams Sonoma has quite a lot of it:
