Good, Clean Fun: a Meh-rathon

From an interview with Alicia Prescott in Time To Tidy Magazine:

Q: What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve done yourself to maintain some level of tidiness in your own home?

A: Will you believe I forsook my own bed? It’s true! My apartment is very compact, and I got into my head that I wanted to convert my bedroom into a sort of sitting room, something a bit more refined than the traditional living room, with a bar cart and some nice wingback chairs. So I removed my bed to open up the space. Each evening, I would inflate an air mattress, and each morning, I would deflate it and fold it away. And you know how folding an air mattress is! Not easy! Ultimately, at the behest of my orthopedist, I gave this up, keeping the air mattress for guests. But it was nice having the sitting room for a time.
