90-Pack: Zenevo Driving Energy Chocolates with Caffeine
Our Take
- Little pieces of dark chocolate with 60 calories and 150mg of caffeine
- That’s about a cup and a half of coffee’s worth
- Choose dark chocolate, dark chocolate mint, or a mix of the two
- Can they make a margarita: No, but they can get you out of bed the day after having a few too many margs

Caffeine delivery seems to be following the same trajectory as digital data storage solutions.
It wasn’t so long ago, in the grand scheme of things, when, if you wanted to move some data from one computer to another, you’d need a floppy disk that was the size of a coaster and possessed the kind of storage space that you could fill up with nothing but Word documents. Now, you can store all of Breaking Bad on something the size of a contact lens.
On the caffeine side, you don’t need a huge gas station coffee or 20-ounce bottle of Jolt Cola anymore if you need a little pick-me-up. No, you can drink a tiny can of something with barely any calories. Or take a little shot. Or eat a piece of dark chocolate.
Which is what we’re selling today: little pieces of dark chocolate (or dark chocolate with mint [or a mix of both]) that each contains about a cup and a half of coffee’s worth of caffeine.
And, according to the reviews on Amazon, they’re great for a variety of things.
Like when you have a long drive ahead of you, so you need to be wide awake but don’t want the jitters:
I find it to be a just-right boost of caffeine for driving or anything. No caffeine buzz for me unless I have too much caffeine in a day.
Or when you need to get through the second half of a long workday:
Taste is great. Good pick me up after lunch.
Or when you want a pre-/post-workout treat that’ll get you moving or keep you from fading:
They taste good, not super sweet. I like eating one before or after a Bike ride.
(Full disclosure: that one is a review of the berry chocolate flavor, which we are not offering today, but it’s the same caffeine/calorie amount.)
Sounds great, right? So get some, and enjoy something sweet and energizing this winter!
