Lenny took the object. It was some sort of pin. “Juvenile Equestrian Society President,” Lenny said, holding the tiny thing close so he could read it. “1971.” He looked up at Kenny and Jenny. “What does it mean?”
“Beats us,” Kenny said.
“Yeah, who knows?” Jenny said. “C’mon, let’s get to Farmer Jenkins’s place. You can ride on my pegs.”
