“Nope,” Bob said, “I haven’t heard anything about that.”
“That’s good to know,” Patricia Dodson said. “You’re a Dodson Refrigerator owner, are you not, Mr. Anton?”
“Yes,” Bob said.
“And would you say you’re happy with the product?”
“Sure.”
“That’s all I really want,” Patricia Dodson said. “For people to be happy. You and all the other Dodson Refrigerator owners. And in order for people to be happy, certain truths must remain unproven. Because one little lie? Is that really so bad if it makes so many people so happy?”
“I suppose not,” Bob said.
