“If we don’t sop up the puddle on stage quick, it’ll freeze, and the Candy Cane Dance Crew will slip and hurt themselves, ruining our chances at saving the park from being turned into a hotel for city people,” said Dane.
“But where will we find a towel big enough?” said Sherry, his mother.
“How about one of these,” Yolanda said, stepping out from behind a tree, holding four large microfiber towels.
“Yolanda!” said Dane. “You came back!”
“I never left,” she said, stepping to him.
“Amazing,” Dane said, taking her in his arms.
“My train was canceled,” Yolanda went on. “The one that was supposed to take me to the city. So I went towel shopping to kill time.”
“Sorta feels like you’re killing the moment,” Dane said.
