Love the Holidays: a Meh-rathon
“You seem disappointed,” said Tucker, the strapping handyman. “I thought it was what you wanted for Christmas.”
Lisa looked down at the present she’d unwrapped with her hands, which were usually used for typing up business reports. “No, I love it. It’s just… well, for so long, I thought I wanted a personal fan like this for my desk, so I could keep cool during all the long hours at the office. But after spending Christmas stranded here in the podunk town of Icicle Way, I’m starting to wonder–” Tears flooded Lisa’s eyes–“if maybe I want a fan for two?”
Tucker embraced her then, lifting her chin in so their gazes met. From behind his back, he produced a second Zippi Personal Fan. His eyes now filled with tears as well as he whispered, “Lisa, it was a two-pack.”
