Meh-ddling Kids: A Very Mysterious Meh-rathon
Farmer Jenkins was sitting on the front porch of his house when triplets pulled up on their bikes. He was looking through his mail. “Be with you in just a second, kids. This temporary mailman they got with MaryAnn out. He’s fine enough but he doesn’t sort out all the junk I’ll just toss like she always did.” He put the mail down in two stacks. “Anyway, thanks for coming on such short notice. Let me show you where I saw the ghost.”
He led them slowly out into the field, walking slowly, clutching his back as he went.
“Are you okay, Farmer Jenkins?” Kenny asked.
“Just getting old, son,” he said. Finally, they reached their destination. “Now, I know I sound kooky, but that’s where I saw him! The ghost! Right there! Next to Roxanne!”
