The meeting was practically over when Bob burst in, huffing. His boss was in the middle of saying something. He glared at Bob but kept talking.
“And since these rumors are probably weighing on all of us, given how prevalent these refrigerators are,” he said, “I just don’t see how we can continue the workday. So why don’t we all go home, unplug a bit, and see what tomorrow brings?”
The assembled employees grumbled their agreement. And with that, the workday was over.
