2-for-Tuesday: 6-Device USB Charging Stations
- You get a 2-pack of 6-USB port charging hubs.
- That means you can charge TWELVE things! That’s probably getting close to All The Things
- Each charging hub has an organizer on top for keeping your devices neat and in order.
- Cool part! You can pull out the 6-port charger from the organizer part, making it smaller and easier to travel with.
- It’s like in sci-fi movies where they can transfer the computer brain to different robot bodies. Except not as exciting.
- You can choose a color, but you can’t mix and match. Because this isn’t art class. It’s… buying class?
- Model: OK-HUB6P. Wow, really selling the quality here, model number.
A Small Step Towards Charging The World
Once upon a time, there was an old man who lived near a long blank wall with many outlets. He sat near the wall each morning and wrote. One day, after a big storm, the old man noticed many smart phones and tablets had blown in with their USB charging cables dangling behind them, plugged into nothing. In fact, as far as he could see in either direction were phones and tablets, phones and tablets.
In the distance, he saw a small website walking. As the website went, it stopped to pick up each device and plug it into something, which it then plugged into the wall.
“Good morning,” called the old man, “may I ask what you’re doing?”
The website motioned to the devices. “I’m charging them. They’ve landed here without a full battery life. Eventually, they will die, and then they will cease to receive Snaps or NBA score updates. Since I have many of these 6-port USB charging hubs, I’ve decided to do what I can. Sometimes I’ll organize the devices atop one. Other times, I’ll remove the block of USB ports so that it takes up less room, which makes it ideal for traveling.”
The old man looked up and down the wall again. “But there are hundreds if not thousands of devices here. There’s no way one website can provide charging solutions for all of them. Really, you could work all morning, and you won’t make much of a difference at all.”
The website leaned down and plugged in an iPad to a charging hub it had set up nearby. The screen alit immediately with a battery and a percentage. Standing, the website cracked a sly smile. “I made a difference to that one!”
The old man pondered the website’s words for some time, stroking his chin in deep concentration, before he finally spoke again. “Well, aren’t you a real fuckin’ smart ass,” he said.
