Checkout.org

So I checking my emails this morning and there’s an email from checkout.org saying that there’s a problem with my credit card and my membership is in danger of being cancelled. I had just placed (and received) an order so I thought “Meh. Someone is trying to get my valuable account info. I’m too smart for that!”.

As we all know, curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back, so I started googling and lo and behold! It wasn’t a scam. On Thu, Dec 4th 2014, Sean explained what checkout.org is.

Huh. Who knew?

Now to figure out why I got the email in the first place…

I have moved and thought I’d changed my billing address when I changed the ship to address, but hadn’t. That’s why bells, whistles and sirens started sounding.

I changed it and all’s right with my mediocre world.
