Looks like we owe someone an apology. His or her name is versabox, and we have to beg forgiveness for what happened when he or she bought this 20 oz. Bubba Insulated Tumbler from us.
All we were trying to do was make people smile. Bring a little joy into their lives and a little of their money into our lives. We thought we’d done it that day. We thought we were doing good, offering a better version of something you guys had liked the first time around. But versabox tells us we failed.
Oh, it’s not that versabox didn’t like the 20-ounce tumbler. He or she loved it. Loved it much more than the 24-ounce version he or she previously bought from us - so much more that “I’m practically mad at Meh for selling the 24 oz ones in the first place,” he or she said.
Mad? At us? Poor little us, who live only to serve? Even though versabox had already bought the 24-ounce tumbler, if he or she wanted “a silicone bottom for stability, a more comfortable shape to hold, a wider opening that’s easier to put ice into,” and a better lid, he or she had to buy another Bubba tumbler.
Well, we’ve learned our lesson. We promise never to do that again. Never again sell anything better than a similar thing we sold before. Never again try to please people. Never again feel a personal mission to put smiles on faces. Never again care.
We didn’t mean to hurt you, versabox. But if you feel that we have wronged you, it doesn’t matter that we didn’t mean to. We must have been, at the very least, insensitive about how our actions would be perceived. And for that we are truly sorry.
But not enough to give you your money back. Let’s not be ridiculous.
