Love the Holidays: a Meh-rathon
Gregory couldn’t believe it: ever since he took in that cat with a tag that said its name was Advent on the first day of December, it had brought him an ornament each morning which signified how his day would go.
And today, on December 24th, the cat had brought him a heart-shaped ornament. What could it mean? he thought, as he prepared to meet up with Jillian for breakfast so she could, as she put it, “come clean about her feelings.”
Before he left his beautiful, sprawling loft-like apartment that he afforded despite being a morning radio host, he made sure to give Advent some breakfast too.
