When I worked in an office, I would just eat my lunch I brought and then go out for lunch later.
Now I work from home, so I just eat whenever I want to. But I try to keep healthy or low calorie snacks in the house.
If the kibble bowl is empty or I want something better, I go find one of my servants and lead them to the place of food so that they can fulfill their destiny.
Depends on my calorie counts. I eat small meals or snacks throughout the day, but keep track of it on Cronometer (android).
That said, if it’s not impacting my performance (tired, forgetful) or mood (frustrated, depressed), I like to do what pskemp2 suggested above and get busy with something.
Intermittent fasting until 12 noon except on Sundays when I get breakfast with my wife. It a good way to develop discipline. So I suck it up, drink more water (or very occasionally a coke zero), and wait for noon.
Eat food.
I don’t get up before 11:00 a.m.

If it is at least 10:30am, I eat my lunch. 11am is lunchtime for me anyway. Before that time I eat a small snack or push through until at least 10:30
