@2many2no Still remember when my mother complained to the principal about her little boy (me) being bullied, it was like 8th graders against a puny 4th-grader, and the principal’s answer was “why doesn’t he just fight back?”
EDIT this was the 70’s, to put it into perspective.
Did it REALLY end? I was just. Am awkward. It feels like still.
Like if we are having a conversation we can have the back and forth discussion. That’s fine. But sometimes it’s my turn to ask a question and carry it and I just… Miss it. Or can let it die. Or… Can’t relate. I’m aware it’s a back and forth I’m just. Not always good at it.
And I also dislike talking about myself. So if you ask me what’s going on in my life it’s mostly “nothing much… Work” etc. And there’s not much else lol
Nothing to do with dating really which I have not tried for a long time. Just. Friends in general. Family.
I’m task oriented and I’m happy to help and I bring my own tools. I’m just not going to watch your social media and I don’t have one for you
It’s much easier for me if we are working together on something/have a shared goal. Both because I’m unlikely to start a conversation without that, and because it bridges gaps. And I’m doing something useful.
Yeah I got mine so early/young, I didn’t even know what it was! At 9 years old and in the 5th grade I was traumatized! Almost 50 years later and I still remember the date and the birthday party I was going to that night. Ugh that was the beginning of hell with endometriosis!
