If you need another quad in your life ;)
Lol I just saw that. So tempting. It's not bad if you think about it.
I really dig the battery indicators behind the actual battery and on the transmitter.
@sportykev That and the 5200mAh battery size :)
@DJMajickMan I need a 5200mAh-like battery for the p trip-1
@DJMajickMan Considering what it would cost to upgrade the P1 to have similar capability, the price isn't too bad. P2 is SO much easier to upgrade for iOSD, BT, etc.
@ruouttaurmind for that price plus tax, I'm not too far away from getting a brand spanking new P3.
@garyhgaryh With Zenmuse 3D? That one says it includes a Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal.
@ruouttaurmind No, the P3 has it's down 3 axis gimbal. I would love to get a hold of a zenmuse 3d gimbal. But if you go with the woot deal, you're so close to the price of the new Phantom 3 that I would just go for the phantom 3 (it's the update of the Phanton 2 vision +.
I found a tali with f12devo, 3d ginbal and ilook for less than $1200......its very tempting.
@nltownsend843
I guess the price got edited out
@nltownsend843 How much was the Tali?
@ruouttaurmind
A little under 1200
@nltownsend843 Looks like the forum didn't like the "less than" symbol. (Definitely no price editing going on.)
@nltownsend843 Link or it doesn't exist ;)
@dave ampersand lt semicolon is our friend. <
@DJMajickMan
It was on ebay, but i saw hellipal has the same deal
@nltownsend843 I paid a bit under a grand for mine (new, open box). When I'm not waiting for repair parts because I've crashed it, it flies like a dream. I don't regret the purchase. My two bits of wisdom: 1. There are a LOT of switches on the transmitter. Learn what they all do BEFORE you take to the skies. Or better still, disable all but the basic functionality in the flight controller before you fly for the first time, then enable features a few at a time as you get used to the controls. About two minutes into my first flight I flipped the RTH switch, intending to see how well it self-landed. In fact, I wound up flipping the wrong switch and Tali reverted to manual control mode. Bad news since I had my throttle at zero. 2. Tali has a few different levels of low voltage warning. If it's in auto mode, it will try to land itself. If you invervene with manual stick input Tali will automatically revert from auto mode to manual mode. If you're too slow on the draw and don't get landed immediately Tali will shut down and fall from the sky. This is what happened the last time I flew her. She was trying to do a low voltage landing and I grabbed control trying to bring the landing zone closer to me but I wasted precious seconds. About 30 feet from the ground Tali went black and fell like a stone. Two serious crashes, unfortunately both my fault. Much as I wish I could blame the equipment... I screwed up. Tali has worked flawlessly when I did my part. Oh, and despite the DJI fanboy Walkera haters, the quality of build is excellent. Components, assembly, everything is top shelf. I've heard people smack about "poor soldering" and bad assembly. That is contrary to what I see inside my Tali.
@ruouttaurmind
Thanks for the input, but its irrelevant right now, i dont have $1200 lol
@nltownsend843 Don't ask yourself if you can afford it... Tell yourself you can't afford NOT to get it! ;-)
