Apple’s ultra-modern HQ has a flaw: People keep walking into windows.
Ironic, innit?
There was at least one call to 911.
@PlacidPenguin There were two. But they put decals on the windows and now it doesn’t happen any more.
@SSteve
I knew post-it notes were left (after the windows were cleaned), but they were removed since they ruined the appearance.
Heard something about decals, but didn’t care enough to look.
@PlacidPenguin @SSteve the code there requires some kind of opaque marking on full glass doors and walls to prevent those accidents but Apple said fuck it (design, appearance) and apparently the inspectors bowed.
@PlacidPenguin And then they added stickers to the windows. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/03/i-walked-into-a-glass-door-911-recordings-from-apples-new-campus/
Well Macs were always for people too spaz to handle windows.
